Rigidity of neck and limbs, any treatment?
A weak dose of
botox
on each side of her neck made no difference but a slightly stronger dose last October, plus a much more structured use of a collar for 2-3 hours a day, has resulted in a marked improvement.

Hi I have just joined the site. I visited my neurologist today and he suggested the use of flunarazine to help prevent chronic migraine.
Has anyone had any success with this drug as I have tried just about everything out there including
botox
?

Cyst found in pelvic and abdominal ultrasound
The specialist was great, he sent me for a pelvic and abdominal ultrasound and I had a sigmoidoscopy and
botox
in the fissures to treat them. After the surgery he told me my bowel was really healthy (thank goodness) but the ultrasound showed a cyst that he suspects is linked to the endometriosis.

Urinary Urgency: life becoming intolerable
Botox
injections sound like an answer, but I have held off these for spasticity [muscle stiffness in arm] as the effects last months and are not reversible if there is a problem. Can you help? Local Drs have no experience of this rare illness. Sorry this has been a bit long. Jack.

Is Botox for migraine prevention available within all NHS trusts? If so, is there an upper age limit for its use?

I wanted to ask about Treatments regarding synkinesis and Eye movements
I've seen a doctor about
botox
for my eyelids to try and train them not to move so much when I move other parts of my face, he said though that it was very easy to get the wrong dosage, either it could not be enough
botox
and have no effect, or too much
botox
and leave me unable to blink again.

Headaches
NHS aren't very interested,Dr has suggested injecting
Botox
into me and I'm almost at the point where I'm considering it. So really asking for advice. Syndol was the only thing that ever worked, even though it put me to sleep. They no longer make this.

Transformed Migraine
Over the years I have tried all sorts of preventatives, none of which helped - and I've refused to try Topirimate after reading the list of side effects, most of which I already had, and I'm now waiting for a course of
Botox
on the NHS.

How and why does Botox work to prevent migraine?
I watched the "Trust me I'm a doctor" segment on this with great interest but didn't really get an answer to my question.

Does anyone have dystonia? I have dystonia in my neck and feet (causing my head to tilt to the side and my toes curling)!!
I go for
Botox
injections every 10 weeks but they are so expensive ($12,000 with me paying $800 co-pay)!! Does anyone have similar problems along with the PD and how are you managing? Thank you!

Try CPAP therapy
I posted a couple of months ago that I had
Botox
therapy and sadly this didn't do much for me. So I dug in deep and went for a sleep apnea test. I was diagnosed with moderate sleep apnea, issued a CPAP machine and chose the Wisp mask, which is not a full facial mask.
