Odd cold sensation on face
I do have tempomadibukar jaw disorder from grinding my teeth which I've treated with a mouth guard and
botox
in my jaw which has helped relax the muscles. I've read that it can affect the nerves in the face but wondering if it could be my low thyroid?

Muscle relaxants to help mobility - yes or no?
Botox
is not an option, so oral muscle relaxants are an option. The side effects of the ones being suggested sound dreadful. His left side is very strong and dominating too much. It also has some motor dysfunction but generally good. Anyone have other suggestions, preferably not a medication?

ACNES Abdominal Cutaneous Neural Entrapment Syndrome
My consultant is now recommending
Botox
but is not holding out any hope of long term relief. Has anybody on this site had any success, experience or comment on this or any sources of research or recommended methods of relief? All suggestions welcome as life is grinding to a full stop.

Botox for double vision?
He wants to inject
Botox
into my eye. He says it should improve in a few months. I've never heard of putting
Botox
into an eye. I would hope that others reply to this so we all will know what we should, or should not do for double vision which could become a serious illness.

Going against doctor
She also denied his
Botox
for his left arm saying he has no muscle? Which he already received three month prior! She’s has a heavy patient load I don’t know what to do? I’m thinking of moving back to the town we left because they have a better medical system.

pain unbearable coming to the end.
She has had nerve blocks and
botox
etc..She has recently had a lidocaine infusion injection which actually gave her a couple of days of relief. She has now been told to wait for at least 4 months before her next injection.

This is a medical
Botox
procedure for blepharospasms. I've been receiving the injections for three years... they're effective for me. I wrote about the procedure in my book - a chapter called Cold Hard Steel. I posted the picture as a lark... this was the worst shiner in three years. Tim (:
