Is calcium supplement necessary if one takes Denusomab ?
Dad has normal calcium levels in his blood tests. He has taken one dose of Denusomab 60 mg and has to take it every six months. He also had osteoporosis in some parts. The doctors write 1000 mg calcium to take daily but is that necessary if one has normal serum levels ?

Hello, I'm new.
I had a surprise text in March saying that ckd stage 3a was found in 2019 in a blood test I requested for something else. No further action was recorded so I have only heard about it this year, nearly 4 years later! My docs practice has changed hands and my records updated and so I was informed. Anyway

Hydroxycarbamide
Hello This may seem a strange question but I am struggling to understand…… if Hydroxycarbamide reduces the amount of blood cells, how does a routine blood test show any issues. I have recently started with chronic stomach pains the doc took a blood sample and said my blood count is fine…. If Hydroxycarbamide

Follow-up with haematologist
I saw my (private) haematologist last night and confessed my B12 EOD habit. It took him several minutes to come down off the ceiling and have a proper discussion with me as I made my argument: that, if I'd followed the NICE protocol I wouldn't be where I am today (mostly functioning well), I wouldn't

Doctors.... blood tests..... need I say more??
I have Hashis, Addisons and a slew of other things.... my old consultant (private not NHS) often called me a modern medical mystery! I have Addisons (PAI) but about 2 years after my diagnosis I had to have steroid injections in my spine- caused my BP to rise to dangerous levels and it's never come down

What might be causing pain under area of left ribs and stomach, shoulder, back? Should I be worried. After running and lasting a few hours.
Title says everything. Extra info of ailments and health that could be relevant (). It could be muscle cramp or something but maybe it could be more serious. I checked NHS guidelines and it doesn't seem like emergency since it only goes to shoulder. Since I have GP in a few weeks it's ok. Can anyone

FET meds query
Hi all, does anyone know the general guidance on how long progesterone and estrogen are recommended following a successful FET? On some of the general paperwork my clinic gave me, it states 8 weeks but this seems way too low? Let me know your thoughts as I think I might try and argue this if they try
