Aside from enlarged lymph glands, more so in the abdominal area, my symptoms have been minor. Dr is now suggesting treatment. Which one ?
Either Ibrutinib or the retuxan +
bendamustine
treatment were the 2 choices given. Diagnosed over 2 years ago and presently on w&w, I have experienced enlarging and then decreasing of lymph glands in neck. My cat scans assert that there is a progression in size throughout.

Rialto trial (Ofatumumab and Bendamustine) - not feeling any better after 4th cycle
Hi, I am on a Rialto trial at the moment and my treatment is Ofatumumab and
Bendamustine
. I have this for two days every month. I am now coming up to my 5th Cycle which is in early January. I understand that there is only 6 cycles so my last treatment is in February.

CLL and Exercise - Can it do you any harm?
I am on my 3rd Cycle of Ofatumumap and
Bendamustine
having been diagnosed with CLL back in April this year. I cannot say that I feel really well at any time, I just have better days than others. I seem to suffer mostly with aches and pains and fatigue.

Dr Peter Hillmen of Leeds, UK discusses the place for Idelalisib in CLL treatment (Patient Power Video)
[/i] http://www.patientpower.info/video/where-a-pi3k-inhibitor-could-fit-in-for-cll Interesting to hear that in contrast to the Patient Power introduction, in the UK, Dr Hillmen sees Idelalisib as likely to have a place with a chemotherapy backbone of Chlorambucil + Ofatumumab or
Bendamustine

Hello all! After my first bout of treatment ( Bendamustine + Retuximab ) one of the pills I have to take is Allopurinol 300mg.
It is an enzyme inhibitor which is for controlling uric acid build up. I have been taking one a day for 8 days. 2 days ago my left bicep began to ache and has since become swollen, hard and red. It is also hot to the touch. Should I be worried? Has anyone else experienced this reaction? Best wishes

Starting treatment soon. Have opted for Bendamustine (Levact) over Fludarabine + Rituximab. Any observations?
A trial called RIAltO comparing the use of Ofatumumab + Chlorambucil and Ofatumumab +
Bendamustine
was offered but I declined at this time. I was diagnosed in July 2013 and had a CT scan 3 weeks ago which showed my spleen to be bigger than my liver. Thus the beginning of treatment. Maureen

Feeling sick with worry - ALC & Steriods
Bendamustine
for 2 days for 6 cycles. Dad has had FC twice before and is not a candidate for Rituximab due to a severe reaction. The consultant said the aim was to get him in remission again which was all positive.

August - Clinical trial update - B + R and Idelalisib - CAL 101
Eventually the two days of
Bendamustine
and Riuximab infusion went well with the associated preventative drugs taking care of any side effects. (In fact 30 mins after the infusion was finished I was driving myself home in my Mazda - roof down - enjoying lots of fresh air !

Had Fludarabine? You can only have irradiated blood...for life.
Also a good idea for
bendamustine
and campath... 'Patients treated with purine analogue drugs (fludarabine, cladribine and deoxycoformicin) should receive irradiated blood components indefinitely (1B).

Do you know about Fludarabine and the lifelong need for irradiated blood?
The profound lymphopenia caused by fludarabine,
bendamustine
, pentostatin cladrabine...renders patients susceptible to transfusion-associated graft versus host disease, a fatal complication of blood transfusion.
