Finally!!!
After weeks off because of a
back
injury
, and weeks after being scared- I’ve finally hit
back
to it. I have had to start from the beginning but at least I’ve started!!!

O fell

a little bit due to a foot
injury
but I'm glad to have hit 500km before year end. If there is one thing I have learn is that consistency is key and a measureable goal is a great motivator.

My holiday!!
As some of you may have read in my previous posts, I have PMR and GCA and am currently on 35mg Pred. Back in February - before this illness was diagnosed - I was invited to stay with friends for a holiday in Florida during October/November this year. This was to be my very first visit to America so I

I decided to try little experiment to help get relief from Hyperacusis and to my utter shock it worked !
Hi everyone, I thought I should share this info with you because if it worked for me I'm sure it can for any of you. Firstly, this is no cure for the condition, Oh how I wish ! But it will, I'm sure, make it invisible to your senses. A bit like a magician's illusion is the best way to describe it. You

Hi - I’m a C25k graduate that is
back
on the programme due to
injury
stopping me running for 18 months. After graduating a couple of years ago I managed to complete a half marathon soon after but managed to mangle my right Achilles a few months later.

Is 10k realistic?
I’ve kept up the running, 250k and 22 Parkruns since I graduated, but also had an
injury
which stopped me consolidating too much. I’m now
back
on the case, and am getting tempted by a local 10k in April.

Hip Surgery with Fibromyalgia
I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia a little over a year ago, along with osteoarthritis. I am about to have my right hip replaced due to osteoarthritis. The docs have said it will be harder for me, because of the fibromyalgia. Has anyone else undergone hip surgery with fibro? Thanks

Heart issues
Can anyone tell me if they have heart issues related to underactive thyroid? I was undiagnosed for around 15 years. After being treated, not effectively for 8 years I now appear to have been diagnosed with aortic stenosis. Anyone have similar issues?

Another post-grad run in the bag
As I'm still working my way
back
from
injury
, I did just 20 minutes, and at a much more sane pace of about 7.3 minutes per km this time. I felt good, I felt like I could have run further, but I wanted to end feeling could, so as not to give myself an excuse for bottling it next time.

Now I'm just showing off....
Hi again girls. Just a bit of showing off as I'm still on a family visit high. A photo to prove my knitting non-skills and my cheapo 20 euro wig which I wore for just the second time at the airport yesterday to say goodbye. The expensive wig has never been out of its box since I got it as I don't

Graduation run at last
It has been a harder journey than I imagined, with a few
injury
struggles along the way which set progress
back
, but yesterday managed the 5k run organised by running club (West Coast Runners,Cyprus) in 15 seconds under 30 minutes.
