Aspirin Question
Does anyone happen to know if it’s ok to take Excedrin, for a bad headache, when you have Essential Thrombocythemia & on Pegasys? Asking because I know there’s a fairly high dosage of aspirin in Excedrin. Thank you!

Gym Circuits - good idea?
I manage my fibromyalgia through pacing and exercise so I swim, walk, run and do AquaFit. I have recently also tried to include pilates or yoga for stretching as well. However these classes have been cancelled and there is now a gym circuits class which I have done twice. It has caused me so much pain

Do I declare Esophageal varices (no longer found) on travel insurance?
Hi All, I've booked a holiday for April next year and I'm looking for a bit of advice regarding my travel insurance. Due to having a blood clot in my portal vein because of my MPN I was diagnosed with having Esophageal varices (bloated blood vessels). However, I recently had an endoscopic examination

Anyone used C25K to run faster?
Ran my first Parkrun for a few years following a pause in proceedings due to a
back
injury
. My run time was 5 minutes slower than when I graduated first time, so I'd like to speed up a bit. Has anyone tried using the C25K series as a means to running faster?

c25k x2 got me started
Caught the Parkrun bug in May 2023 and not looked

since. Hope to stay

free in 2024 and improve my 5k pb and go further than 17k. Loving the warmer weather has started this week and looking forward to some evening runs this week. Fitter in my fifties than any time in the last 30 years.

Cerelle desogestrel
I've been taking 2x desogestrl tablets daily since January and have noticed the past few months cramping but no period, I've had to go to hospital for morphine to calm this, could this mean my endo has grown back even thought i only had a lap in March 22?

Dry-Needling and Low Level Laser Therapy By Physios: Does this really work and can it worsen tinnitus?
I triggered tinnitus and hyperacusis over 7 years ago now. Luckily it always went eventually but as of about 4 months ago it seems as if it is here to stay and a lot worse. An otologist told me that areas I said gave me pain could be consistent with TMJ issues and that he worked with a physio who could

tramadol
I was on tramadol for at least 10 years----100 mg. then my doc took me off because a neurologist put me on Clonazepam for REM/SBD (rapid eye movement sleep behavior disorder.) But I was also getting cervical and lumbar rhizotomies...and still do every 12-14 months or so. I am now working with the VA

Low B6... taking a complex with pyridoxine which obviously doesn't suit
Back to the search for the best B complex (Thorne being elusive at the moment and didn't do particularly well at keeping my B12 up)... one which contains pyridoxal 5' phosphate Does anyone rate Igennus Super B Complex? All suggestions welcome 🤗

LDH high
Looking back, my specialist tested my LDH at diagnosis and it was in fact elevated. He told me that it’s very common for MPN’s to cause elevated LDH levels and said with treatment we can correct them.. is that true? I was worried for a second about any organ or tissue damage, but he reassured and said

I’ve had a back injury from a trip and can’t run atm. I’m finding it’s really affecting my mental health. How do I deal with this?
I’ve been doing c25k for 18 months now and really enjoy it . Running helps me to feel good and ‘resets’ my brain and body . It also helps with menopausal joint pain. I’ve not run now for more than three weeks due to lower back pain . I’ve seen my physio who has given me some stretches to strengthen my

Best natural anti anxiety remedy
Hi, I was wondering what natural treatments people are taking to help with the anxiety that a lot of us with T have to deal with every day ? Does 5-htp work ? How about St Johns wort and L Theanine ? Which seems to work best for you ?

The "other" symptoms of PMR?
I was diagnosed with PMR in July 2022 after 2 months of sudden onset of symptoms. I was very fit & healthy at time of first symptoms. I am using DSNS weaning regime & down to 7mg & had 2 flares during this time. Currently stuck on 7mg for a month due to slight hip discomfort. My question is less
