alendronic Acid
Have been prescribed this by Rhuemy after waiting 3 1/2 years to see one. Have been down to 1/2 and 1 mg but symptoms returned. Have been on 3 mg for 12 months but Rhuemy has upped me to 5mg explaining about ardrenals and hopes this will fully wake them up. To reduced to 4mg in 8 weeks and then down

Off patent drug possibility for Covid. Ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA), an approved liver disease drug, reduces ACE2 levels on lab-grown cells
There seems to be a deal of excitement in certain media areas about research involving UK, European and US researchers on a covid treatment drug. The one in question is an off patent drug ursodeoxycholic acid currently used to treat liver damage so a re-purposing rather than development of a new drug

Guy Tenenbaum Protocol.
I've been watching Dr. Berg's interviews with him and when Guy was showing the supplements he uses, they said that ALA and garcinia together inhibit the SCOT (pathway?) (enzyme?) (process?) which allows the protective outer covering of the cancer cell to melt away, leaving the cancer cell vulnerable.

Alendronic Acid versus Risedronate
Advise required from you knowledgable people please. My situation is that I was diagnosed with PMR in September and automatically given Alendronic Acid to take. However, after reading the patient information leaflet I faltered and didn’t start taking it. Then spoke to yet another GP who said that I could

Low bone density due to high levels of natural fluoride in drinking well water?
Apologies for repeating this question but I have not been able to find it on the website or any replies to it. So first question - How do I find a question that I have posted, along with any responses? But the original question - I have been diagnosed by my GP as having low bone density after a scan

Should I consider increasing my prednisolone to cover Zoledronic acid infusion?
Morning all- I need to have an infusion of Zoledronic acid next week as my latest DEXA scan has shown that I am osteoporotic again following a year of prednisolone treatment. I was originally diagnosed with osteoporosis 4 years ago at the age of 52 and was managed initially with HRT and Adcal/Vit D3

Anyone with PBC tried the carnivore diet?
I have been taking Ursodiol since about 2015 and my liver enzymes have been well managed. I went carnivore about 3 months ago. I had my enzymes tested and they were off the charts! I’m not sure if this is a result of the carnivore diet or some other cause. The only question my GP asked is if I had

Bone density and alendronic acid
I have PMR and take prednisolone for that, currently on 6mg daily. A GP I saw tried very hard to get me to take alendronic acid but I have silent reflux and find swallowing tablets difficult - they seem to get lodged in my oesophagus regardless of the quantity of water I drink with them. I pushed to

Recovery from PMR
Hello everyone. Two issues to share. I developed pmr 24 years ago when I was 50 . I never took steroids but took ibuprofen for the pain and to get me through the working day. After two years the condition burnt out and I recovered completely. Fast forward to Christmas Eve 2021 when I ended up in Emergency

CPR Courses
There was an interesting post recently about training in resuscitation techniques. Inspired by this I contacted The Red Cross. Here's their reply, unfortunately no CPR training near to me, but for anyone in London, Salford, Edinburgh, or Belfast there's an opportunity to acquire a skill that might

Zoledronic acid infusion.
I had a zoledronic acid infusion 5 weeks ago I am now experiencing a lot of upper abdominal pain. I thought this was only the case with the oral medication. I am prone to this anyway but it seems worse now. Has anyone experienced this and if so how long does it go on for.

Alendronic Acid
I have had GCA for ten years now and as the result of the last of three relapses agreed to take 3mg of predisolone for the foreseeable future. When I last saw my Consultant she wanted me to go on Alendronic Acid. As things are at the moment I have a good healthy, natural, milky diet. The last DXA scan

Omega-3 DHA EPA and Prostate Cancer Risk
Dr. Mark Moyad is in my top list of doctors who are knowledgeable about Prostate Cancer, especially pertaining to diet and supplements. However I think this post is outdated regarding his comment that Omega-3 DHA EPA could be pro-PCa. I think the average Western Diet, especially in the USA has much

Мой опыт и мои мысли о прохождении радиолигандной терапии с использованием лиганда PSMA-617, содержащего изотопы 177Lu и 225Ac. Часть 2.
So, at the end of August 2020, a personal curator, a nice, friendly employee of the center, meets me at the airport, who gives me a local SIM card with an Internet package connected for free and takes me to the hotel that I pre-booked through Booking. The next morning, I arrive at the center to meet
