Do antibiotics interfere with NDT?
She put me on
Augmentin
(antibiotic) and I developed severe intestinal problems so she took me off off of it in less than 24 hours. Then, because of all of my allergies, she did the penicillin injection (which is what they normally do for all my infections) and some antibiotic ear drops.

Pelvic Congestion
I was on
Augmentin
635mg 3x a day to blast this infection out. Now, here is where I need advice. Has anyone had an infection before? It has been 4 weeks since I originally had the infection, and I am exhausted. I feel physically and mentally drained. All I currently do is sleep for Europe.

Persistent Diarrhoea (plus Creon)
The Small bowel bacterial overgrowth had been treated in some with specific antibiotics for 7-10 days, oxytetracycline,
augmentin
, ciprofloxacin or rifaxamin. No good evidence for probiotics.

Bronchiectasis and antibiotics
Last year I posted how when I was given
augmentin
following a dog bite my coughing cleared up almost completely. Unfortunately after a couple of months my symptoms gradually returned.

Don't know if I can take these 2 tablets together?
I found an absess the other day and the doctor has prescribed me
augmentin
which I have to take 3 times a day. But I have started my period early and I normally take Co codomol but I didn't ask the doc if I could take them both together I was just wondering if anyone knew if it was ok. Thanks

What would be the first symptom to alert you to start using your reserve pack of meds?
Also my GP has disregarded the antibiotic that has been recorded on my discharge papers and has given me two packs of ( one of each),
augmentin
and clarythromycin. No mention of taking them both together or one first then the other. I'm confused and fed up going to see him. I have bronchiectasis.

Prednisolone
About three weeks ago i got a lung infection, and my GP put me on a 5 day course of Rulide 300mg. and
Augmentin
Duo Forte 875mg-125mg. When there was no difference in my condition I had to repeat the same 5 day course, but to no effect so he put me on prednisolone 5mg for 7 days.

The breakthrough new treatment is
augmentin
, well-known antibiotic! Amazing! Cost to Health about £114 ! I'm definitely making an appt with my GP.

Just want to say hello
My journey began about 6 months ago when after a 10 day course of
Augmentin
I noticed that my urine was a bright orange and I was itching all over my body. I also had incredibly bad indigestion along with constipation. This lasted about a week and I went in to see my physician.

long term/maintenance antibiotics
But also got started on maintenance antibiotics (
augmentin
) because my white cells are consistently over the top. So my real question is: Anybody else on maintenance ab? Are there any major side effects that are as well as or worse due to it being long term?

Hi all - update
(thank god) Was discharged yesterday with further antibiotics (
Augmentin
) and stronger painkillers - The finger has further resorption of the tuft phalanx and the suggestion of possible Osteomyelitis - so finger is getting shorter. Funny though as there was no break in the skin.
