Vaccines FYI
Studies show that flu vaccines produce a good immune response in people with MS, especially if taking interferons or
Aubagio
(glitramer acetate). If you take Lemtrada, be sure to get your flu shot six weeks prior to your infusion.

Living & Loving Life the best I can
I take
Aubagio
for it.. My hair is falling out in strands. And I go into Surgery on the 18th to get my teeth taken out because they are weak and crumbly from the meds?? not sure if it's MS related or medication related. But I'm enjoying my life so far.

is working good for me not going to change the medicine. Do not need to see until next year unless I have a problem. Going to keep going to the strength unlimited gym doing what I can do. I was happy when I left his office.

Question 1
Chose
aubagio
. MRIs don't show anything new and no new symptoms. More worrying than the new lesions though was the significantly narrowed artery in my brain. Already had high blood pressure and high cholesterol and family history. Started a baby aspirin a day.

Ocrevus Issue?
I had previously been on
Aubagio
but it was discontinued due to cardiac issues (tachycardia and hypertension) I have autonomic dysfunction which was diagnosed in 2012 after several syncopal episodes. I am on two cardiac meds. I have been stable for years on these medications until this month.

Knees feel numb but I can feel them ? Also approved for rituxan!
I've been on Copaxone and
Aubagio
. Just got word that insurance has approved Rituxan after a 6 month denial and appeal. Good thing since I've had the oddest sensation that my knees are numb, but I can feel when I touch them. Have any of you experienced this? Maybe a new exacerbation?

ACA Adventures
I believe this is an issue with Healthcare.gov and not the company but when I look at the company's formulary all the meds are listed except for my
Aubagio
. So now I'm concerned. I call them up and yes it is allowed with pre-authorization.

Aubagio?
Anyway, so my doc is talking abt switching me from Copaxone to
Aubagio
. I balked at the mention. I rather like my side effect free Copaxone. I already feel relatively crappy on any given day and I dont want to have to deal with side effects from meds.

3 years in, still not accepting
Now been on
Aubagio
about 1 1/2 years. Considering trying Ocrevus but scared I'll make the wrong decision and have more damage. I turn 40 in December and so tired of feeling 100 and not being able to keep up with my family/kids.

Headaches vs. migraines?
I’m waiting to get my
Aubagio
started and have been off of Avonex for a few months now in the interim. I’m open to any tricks or suggestions that others wouldn’t mind sharing.

Can MS or MS meds cause food sensitivity?
I've been on
Aubagio
for almost 3 months now. Ever since I started it I've experienced some food sensitivity..specifically towards fruits. I now have [new] issues with pineapple, tomatoes, and avocados. I developed the sensitivity to avocados the FIRST day I started taking

Aubagio question
Wanting to know if anyone is taking the 7mg of
Aubagio
. My neurologist said it’s not as effective as the 14mg. Other neurologists agree also that it isn’t as effective.

Hello!
(
Aubagio
) My diagnosis came in 1995 after a round of optic neuritis. Originally, the doctors were perplexed as my brain MRIs showed no plaques but my progression was more in line with CPMS.
