I donated a kidney on the 10th of March. Covid was just hitting Boston on the day of our surgery. We both came through fine (no visitors were allowed in, of course). I feel like I had been courted before the surgery and now I feel as though I have been put out to pasture. I am having some issues

Has anyone used TAURINE
I can across an item on NIH.GOV on how TAURINE impacts brain function and CNS. Has anyone know or used touring as a supplement?

Problem with taking Pronordic Liposomal Magnesium with taurine. Has anyone used this product?
This morning for the firs time I tried a 5ml sachet of Pronordic liposomal magnesium with zinc chromium selenium and taurine. Within half an hour Imwas feeling very strange, on edge, anxious and noticed my pulse rate rise. The opposite was meant to happen as in a relaxed feeling and hopefully a beneficial

Happy Day!
A few weeks ago I had my annual appointment (an on-line one this time) with my EP, Dr. Rodney Horton at TCAI in Austin. He told me that my chance of my Afib being fixed are statistically 96 percent. I do not need to follow up with him unless my heart decides to act up again. I am thrilled as it has been

Another Taurine Question - Is it a stimulant?
The amino acid Taurine is promoted as a useful supplement for heart rhythm problems. Many sources also state that Taurine is a relaxant, and can even be used as sleep aid before bed because it increases GABA in the brain. Yet it is also included in energy drinks like Red Bull, which does not make sense

Taurine Question
I just bought some powdered Taurine. I figured why consume more capsules than necessary each day. The instructions say to take it on an empty stomach (dissolved in water, I assume). I thought all vitamins and minerals and supplements were better absorbed with food. Anybody else taking their Taurine on

Is anyone using supplements such as Taurine?
Hi, I'm new here and recovering from a HA (Feb 11th) and alongside my heart meds, I am also using Taurine, L-Carnitine, D-Ribose and French Pine Bark, this has only been since late February after I was discharged. Has anyone here got experience of using these supps for their HA?

IL-8, The Inflammatory Mediator That Is 220% + Higher In PWP Cerebrospinal Fluid Than In Control Subjects And Possible Ways To Deal With It
In a recent reply post to forum member Parkie13 (Mary) I was discussing the chemokine Interleukin-8 (IL-8) and its relationship to PD and Multiple Sclerosis(MS) which I had only recently read about myself. The conversation got going because the post was discussing the possibility that MS may be caused

A new level of well being. I wish more would try.
So, I can not describe what has happened to me recently except to say I am feeling a whole new level of well being. People . . . understand I have a genetic disorder that by rights should be forcing me to use a walker by now, and I am living a 100% normal life. Maybe, I'm on to something?? Maybe? -

Anybody ever had more ectopics when supplementing Taurine & L-arginine?
Hey all I currently supplement magnesium (400mg daily), taurine (3-6k mg daily) and L-arginine (3-6k mg daily). I have been doing so now for over 2 years and I feel it's helped to heal my heart and calm down the ectopics I'd been experiencing post-ablation. The problem though, is that I've been experiencing

The following claims have been made from what I can research: Improves eyesight Improves aerobic performance Strong calming effect Stabilises thyroid Ie a very wide range of possible areas being addressed. I take 1000 a day (500 had little effect) and I can claim early support for items 1 and 3

Taurine
I am seeing a naturopath for my RLS and insomnia. I was prescribed Taurine, 1000 mg, and after two weeks am sleeping 7 hours a night. Hope it keeps working, as it has been years since I had this much sleep a night.

Raw Goat milk
Goat milk is considered one of the healthiest foods. It contains vitamins B1, B2, B6 and B12 that are important for the strengthening of the nervous system, and abounds in minerals (calcium, phosphorus, zinc, selenium) that play an important role for bone strength and maintenance of immunity. Hello from Jenny
Hello , I left the group for awhile , but decided to come back to see if there was any progress made or any good advice. Just in case someone is interested , I wrote to the Neumorod company in Ireland. Unfortunately because I have a Cochlear Implant at this stage they can’t help me, I thought this might
