My Latest Stack: Anybody want to deep dive on protocols?
So this is my latest stack. I think I have a good list now. Now it is time to fine tune it. Get the dosages and timing right. Will any of it help? I hope so. I have not been diagnosed with PD. I have been diagnosed with REM Sleep Behavior Disorder (with other troubling symptoms). I still have a sore

Magnesium taurate & Vit C
I've had A Fib for 5 years. I had an unsuccessful ablation about 2 years ago. About 6 months ago I started taking a daily supplement of magnesium taurine & another of Vitamin C. I had read that either of these can be helpful with AF I've taken them consistently & to my surprise my episodes of A fib

Flecainide and Bisoprolol as a PIP approach for Vagal Afib?
I’ve deduced I have vagal Afib as all my episodes occur without fail late evening after eating or early morning waking me from my sleep. I take 1.25mg Bisoprolol daily and 50 to 100mg of Flecainide as a pill in pocket. The Flecainide stops Afib in its track usually within one to two hours but I find

Vinpocetine BUT MUCH MORE: Are you taking your supplements right?
I'm one of those guys that does not like to be told how to do things. I don't much pay attention to whether a supplement bottle says to take something with food or on an empty stomach. How much of a difference can it make? Turns out, it can make a LOT of difference. VPN is well absorbed from small intestine

Update and question about verapamil
Quick update.....stopped flecainide and reduced verapamil. Feeling good and no afib, no SVT. Surprisingly blood pressure which was always good dropped (now 107/68), but Verapamil is meant to lower blood pressure. go figure. Only change I have made recently other than meds is use of taurine (close to

Want to mange this thing!
I had catheter ablation for supraventricular Tachycardia in March and second one in June. Was told 2nd ablation would fix me, as the Electrophysiologist now knew what to do/where to ablate and would use special mapping equipment and higher powered catheters. He ablated SVT site and found a Flutter site

Can the combo of ACETYLCYSTEINE-150MG + TAURINE-500MG help to sleep? Any experiences?
I was looking for taurine for sleep at local chemist shop but right now it's available only in combination with acetylcysteine. Is that ok to try for sleep without aggravating RLS?

Supplements, nootropics, vitamins, herbs: how do they interact? which are not compatible, which work synergistically and timing?
Sept. 7, 2021: I’m adding this preface. Thank you for your responses! I did not anticipate this! Please do not have expectations of my efforts culminating in anything that is not very basic, already known by most people on this forum, or more than what is easily accessible on the internet. I use

Resetting the Circadian Clock
Yes, I am kind of spitballing here. Could resetting the circadian rhythm help with PD? I posted this a couple days ago: Treatment of isolated REM sleep behavior disorder using melatonin as a chronobiotic 2021 https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1111/jpi.12759 The whole protocol is based on using

Taurine powder? L-taurine pills?
Is anyone using taurine powder? Anyone using L-taurine pills? I can not find the difference between L-taurine and taurine? Any personal experience or research information is always greatly appreciated.

Taurine Supplement for RLS
If I use Taurine powder instead of Taurine capsule, will it have the same effect?Anyone knows ? I'm confused about this, I would be very grateful if you could help me, at least I want to give Taurine a chance. I have been suffering from RLS for 15 years.

Magnesium and Taurine
Hi again, quick question. I have magnesium citrate, it was easy to find. Magnesium taurate I cannot buy locally, only as an import from Amazon. I have found taurine locally. Can anyone tell me whether magnesium citrate (or I could get glyconate) plus taurine is thought to be as effective as magnesium

Magnesium Taurate recommendation
Can anyone recommend a good brand of magnesium taurate for AF? Or any other sort of magnesium? I want to take about 200-250mg per day. I bought some on Amazon by Douglas laboratories, but it is no longer available. There is also some by Tom Oliver, but at 600mg it seems a bit strong. Has anyone tried

Why is it that ectopics can often been somewhat painful and take your breath away?
I feel like I may have wondered this before, but they're really starting to unsettle me lately. I did the PK diet for a few weeks and during that time, and for 2 weeks after, my heart was the most relaxed it has been in many years. But recently, no doubt due to reintroducing carbs, etc. it has started

Taurine
Has anyone who has taken taurine had their blood pressure go up? I decided to try it. And only about 1/3 of a 500 mg capsule a few times and I believe it caused my BP to go up. Too high. Like 155/77. Mine is usually in the 120/60 or a little lower. I quit taking it but bp still up. Only thing I've done

For those who would like to go the non-med route for RLS
I used to be on here quite frequently, but then got busy with other things. However, I have exchanged chats with some members who asked me about some of my older posts, as well as I have read things in the newsfeed as they pop up in my email. Here is an article which I have found not only helpful, but
