Started my grandmother on TTFD
I am my grandmother's primary care taker. I recently learned about HDT and decided to try it on her. Every morning I videotape her eating, which I will use to see if her condition gets better or worse over time. She is 87, having parkinson's for at least 25 years. In the last year her on-state dyskinesia

Good resources regarding vagal AFIB?
Does anyone have any good resources (articles, YouTube videos) directed to vagally-mediated AFIB (the type that occurs after a large meal or while sleeping)? I believe my AFIB was triggered by endurance athletics (I used to do long bike rides and probably overdid it and stressed my body too much).

Taurine and ADT weight gain
One thing that many PCa endurers see occurring despite their best efforts is weight gain while on ADT. Does the community have any info on whether taurine can help, in conjunction with lots of exercise? I found a couple articles that it might.

Taurine supplements New Scientist Page 18, 17 June 2023
There is a research article in the news article section of the New Scientist that week saying that Taurine supplements may extend lifespan and health as we get older. 12,000 60 year olds were analysed and higher taurine levels correlated with better health and lower incidence of type 2 diabetes and reduced

Magnesium taurine
Hi all I read a post about people taking magnesium with taurine, but they were having trouble finding it together in one product. I found that dolphin fitness do a combined capsule. I use the firm often and I find them to be very reliable and well priced. Below is, hopefully, the link. I hope this

amino acids not recognised as essential in humans such as taurine play a role in fibromyalgia,
In this study, researchers measured the level of 20 amino acids (critical components of proteins). They found that overall levels of amino acids were lower in fibromyalgia and that seven amino acids were especially low, including taurine, alanine, tyrosine, valine, methionine, phenylalanine, and threonine. The

My Current Stack (What is in Yours?)
Fabnusasked me what my current stack was so I am sharing it here. Please remember I have not been diagnosed with PD. I have RBD and some other symptoms.
Also remember I have a HS degree, poor impulse control, and I am prone to bad decisions. Please do your own research.

Feel Terrible - Any Advice Please?
I'm weaning onto Armour Thyroid, guided by a doctor. I've been raising my dose by only 1/4 grain every 2 weeks, this slowly because I have low cortisol. The first two raises I had a few days of feeling jittery but this calmed with the help of taking ashwagandha and taurine. I reached 60mg last Sunday

Am I talking out the back of my head?
A little background. I have had Lone Parox Afib for circa 17 years and symptomatic. Drugs are: Flecainide 50mg twice daily since diagnosis. No known side effects except tinnitus. (24x7) Apixaban 5mg twice daily. Anastrazole : which kills estrogen for estrogen + breast cancer. Prescribed for 5 years

Good site for vegan nutrition info and some supplements I take
https://veganhealth.org/daily-needs/ For a good B12 source would recommend the 3 natural form supplement here : https://www.sunday.de/en/vitamin-b12/. 500mcg per day is a good safe dosage. You cannot overdose on B12 and although 500mcg seems like a lot, only an estimated 6-7mcg are absorbed of this

? Experience w/ taking Hydroxychloroquine & ADT simultaneously? If so, issues w/ your heart or other side effects? Clinical Trial or Nubeqa?
I've been considering doing a clinical trial or just starting on Nubeqa. The trial includes a pretty high dosage of hydroxychloroquine (HCQ), along with Metformin and Sirolimus. I'm trying to figure out if the trial/HCQ has a significant chance of causing heart disruptions/issues. I am cautious because

What about Taurine?
Surprised a search for Taurine in this forum turned up virtually nothing. I've gone 80% Vegan on my diet so I don't get a lot of Taurine from foods. I did a little research to make sure supplementing with it wasn't pro-PCa. I'm trying to keep my supplementation regimen as simple as possible though

Mind-Map of Lone AF, Thyroid, Gilbert's and Autism
I'm new to forums about the above. So, forgive me if I'm going over old ground. My medical history is really only remarkable for mild Gilbert's Syndrome (hyperbilirubinaemia) and mercury fillings (in common with much of the UK of my generation!). However, 13 years ago I was diagnosed with lone paroxysmal

Taurine review on Livestrong.com
https://www.livestrong.com/article/13769770-taurine-workout-routine-monster-energy/ As I take Taurine every day this was of interest to me. I've found that the cheapest source is from Bulk.com. No nice packaging pill though. Just powder in a resealable bag and a scoop. All the best. Roy
