Plavix and ITP
I was on Plavix and baby
aspirin
along with Zoloft. Was anyone on the same or similar medications when diagnosed. Initially my Dr thought the medication caused the low platelets.

Tattoos while taking aspirin.
My question is, I’m on a blood thinner of 75mg of
aspirin
daily, Will I be able to go ahead? The tattooist is very reputable one known him for years, so all good there. Anyone had experience of large tattoos while on heart meds? TIA, JD. 😃

Angiogram clear, what next? Microvascular?
He has said I can stop my angina meds which is basically just the
aspirin
as I was already on the beta blockers as a migraine preventative and I haven't needed to use the GTN spray. I'll still stay on the statins for my cholesterol until I speak to a doctor about another blood test to check levels.

Is it essential to get a bone marrow biopsy?
I'm newly diagnosed with ET JAK2+, 600-700 platelet count, taking
aspirin
. Getting my head around it all. Is there an urgency to get biopsy or see how I am in the next few months then decide. Doctor says no urgency but if I want to now then can arrange. I'm just not sure.

Who has had Covid?
I’m 38 and ET is my only health issues - platelets around 1.2 million, triple negative, on
aspirin
only as considered extremely low risk I’m in the US and stayed inside for almost a year and a half, even kept my kids how half of school last year. This year things had seemed better.

Medications after having a stent
Hello everyone, just wanted to ask which medications people have been prescribed after having a stent fitted, my dad is due to have one but is struggling to take both asprin and clopidogrel, they both really upset him and he takes lansoprazole which doesn't seem to help, has anyone else had this trouble

A compound isolated from chaga protected brain cells from Parkinson’s disease
Since chaga may stop platelet aggregation, it should not be taken in combination with blood-thinning medications, such as
aspirin
and warfarin to prevent the risk of bleeding [36]. Chaga may also lower blood sugar levels.

Things are settling down...
So I was taken off nitrates and
aspirin
. This meant I could stop lansoprazole which was messing up my digestive system. I am now being treated for high blood pressure which is down to 120/80 avg with the amlodipine. Cholesterol is improving due to statins. I take both meds in the evening.

Restless legs
Haven’t had this with any of my other transfers but also on a lot more meds this time (progynova, cyclogest,
aspirin
, Clexane and prontogest). I have a feeling it’s maybe the prontogest progesterone injections but wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this? x

Gastrocardiac Syndrome
In just over 2 years I have dropped 3 of my 5 tablets, leaving a statin and
aspirin
..the dreaded addictive benzos are gone at last. 5. Where I am I cannot get UK TV and being unable to watch the daily scaremonger, I feel a lot more relaxed. 6.

ET - Pregnancy
Baby
aspirin
. Recently had my check 6 month review and all ok. My platelets are stable at ~850. We’re trying for another baby, which is a rollercoaster in itself. I don’t know anyone’s pregnancy that was quite so complicated as mine. Seems quite daunting to hopefully do it again.

Myelofibrosis and tingling limbs
Myelofibrosis and tingling limbs I've recently been diagnosed with myelofibrosis having had essential thrombocypomia for over 20 years with no symptoms and only low dose
aspirin
. My white blood cells are normal, my platelets a little low and I'm slightly anemic.

Splitting a tablet
I take 75mg of
aspirin
daily, and I have been splitting a 300mg
aspirin
into four. How confident can we be that a quarter of a pill will contain more-or-less 75mg of active ingredient? What does anyone think?
