Itchy skin
Hi I haven't been on here for a long time, mainly because I have had a skin problem for the last year which has driven me over the edge! I have thyroid, Rheumatoid arthritis, and was diagnosed with NP which is Nodular Prurigo. Most of my body was itching so bad that when I scratched, it starts the cycle

Before you read, I posted this in an arrythimia forum for help, didn't really get a response so I'm showing you all this in hopes maybe you all expirence this too and can give me insight or if this is even anxiety, I'm doubting it a lot because I am not anxious when it happens, I know if my anxiety is

Alternative Therapy - Canadian residents - Nature of Things broadcast
If anyone is able to pick up CBC programs Nature of Things tomorrow night is, among other things, discussing Bioflex light therapy. I've been getting this to help with inflammation, although I think the show tomorrow night may be focussing more on neurology. http://www.cbc.ca/natureofthings/ "The Brain's

Third ablation, lots of palpitations.
Hi there. Been a while since my last post. After the ablation for AVNRT in 2014, I underwent a second one in january this year (LVOT) and another one just 12 days ago (20th October). My cardio tried to burn a point in the RVOT which gives me palpitations when doing an effort like brisk walking. Unfortenately

Ectopic heartbeats, pvcs and pacs
Hi everyone, I have a question relating to pvcs and pacs. I got diagnosed in June of this year with them and was wondering if anyone who has these can tell me how many years they have had them and if they get worse or more frequent as the years go by??? Also what kind of medication you take or supplements

Hello all, I just signed up as I really need some advice and help, if possible. Just a quick summary of the events that had led to the current problem: -stage 4 endometriosis, 1 laparoscopic surgery, no troubles conceiving; -no thyroid problems prior to first pregnancy in 2013; -started getting numerous

Alternative therapy the continuing story
Not wishing to retell the whole saga I refer interested people to my other posts on alternative therapy where you will find descriptions of low intensity light therapy. Over the late summer I reduced my visits to the physiotherapist for my light therapy session to once a fortnight. At the beginning

New here, strange symptoms and AF aged 29
Hi all, I am new here as I think I have AF and potentially other things going on and I'm hoping you may be able to shed some light on my symptoms and whether they're typical of AF. I do apologise for the length of the post, there is however a bit of a backstory. I am 29, I have Hashimotos thyroiditis

Tips for winter depression?
I struggle with winter depression and am trying to get ahead of it this year... searching for any ideas which may help? I am intending to try to get out regularly and do exercise/get fresh air... keep to a routine... but I know from previous experience that when it hits those are the last things I want

Ectopics , PVC, PACS etc
Does anyone who suffers from these and other arrhythmia a also get constant dizziness and lightheaded mess and also nausea? I have been experiencing all the latter and the ENT consultant I saw yesterday thought it might be due to my heart problems rather than an inner ear problem. He gave some balance

Random Feelings in my chest
Ok for awhile now, probably since November I have been having these PVC's. For the first about 5 months it caused some really bad anxiety and panic attacks. I have since then got those under control. Originally with medicine, Sertraline and Xanax. I decided months ago i was not gonna be a slave to a

Tired of not knowing
Tired of palpitations: I've had palpitations since I've been in my 30's. I'm 64 now. Mine range from tachycardia to PVC'S. They really don't know what they are because although I've worn a Holter monitor 3 times and another thing that I wore for a month, my heart didn't do anything while I had them

alternative therapy take 2, monthly update
For those who haven't read my other posts on alternative therapy please refer to my profile. This is just an update as I know a couple of people have been interested. I'm currently at 3 mg pred, and plan to stay here a few more days before starting a slow taper to 2.5. I've cut back the low intensity
