Is Hydroxocobalamin im suitable for sub cut?
So I finally got to see my gp following the haematologist appointment last Monday and now have my prescription of Ampoules. They state on the box that they are for Im injection but I would prefer to do sub cut as with everything else going on I am not quite confident that I can relax enough to inject

Scared of my Birthday ?!
After my surgery I got the chest pains which freaked me out and I searched a lot stupid things on Google and I almost convinced myself I was gonna have a
aortic
dissection
or a blood clot that will give PE.

Recent diagnosis for my dad
Hi everybody. My dad is 69. Until last year was fit & active. Young for his age you might say. In March 2015, however, he was diagnosed with cancer of the tonsil -it was fairly extensive T3 & had travelled to the lymph nodes. The doctor said "there's nothing here that I can't zap I am sure". If only.

My memory problems got me sacked
Hi, I don't know where to begin and this is probably more of a rant than anything but after trying my best to be "right" since the operation I've hit a brick wall that I can't see how I can get over. Like a lot of people since my total thyroidectomy and bi-lateral neck dissection 2009 I have memory problems

Has anybody on Ibrutinib had to face surgery?? We are told to stop three days prior and stay off for 7 days, but has anybody had any bleeding issues? my husband's surgery December 11th is for right neck dissection for removal of all lymph glands at right-hand side having discovered a malignant cluster

Has anyone been ill health retired due to thyroid cancer?
I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer which had spread to my lymph nodes in July 2012. I had a total thyroidectomy and neck dissection in Sept 2012 followed by RAI in Nov 2012 and July 2013. Sadly my cancer does not respond to the RAI and I still have cancer in my neck. The medical plan now is to wait

I have been asked by my GP to pay for my B12 ampules! Is this normal?
Hi everyone, with help from another B12 support website I sourced acetic acid free B12, it's Cobalin H Hydroxocabalamin. A woman who advised of this gets it free via her GP, it's the one her practice uses for everyone. I have interstitial cystitis where I have to avoid all acids, so a very valid reason

Acetic Acid Free B12 Injection?
Hi everyone, I started my B12 injections this afternoon. Because I have Interstitial Cystitis I have to be as acid free as possible. I asked my GP for the ingredients, because I had a week of bladder pain and spasms after a synacthen test :-( Unfortunately B 12 injections contains acetic acid too.

Post thyroid cancer op
Well had total thyroidectomy and lateral neck dissection 3 weeks ago. They removed 50 lymph nodes, 11 of which we're suspect and I had an 11 mm tumor on my thyroid. Was weird waking up from g.a losing 5 hrs of my life. Recovery went ok until my calcium levels to drop and my whole body went into muscle

Any idea what may be happening?
hi guys I am now two weeks post right side partial thyroidectomy where they took out isthmus and did a level 6 neck dissection as well. Scar is healing up really well and slowly getting back to normal, still getting very tired very quickly. For the last three days I've been under a great deal of stress
