It has been a very long journey to get here due to thyroid and very high

antibodies (>1300.) I was treated with steroids to suppress my immune system which appeared to do the trick and I have just weaned off them.

Help with where to start?!
I've had "strongly positive
antithyroid
peroxidase antibodies" in 2014 with normal thyroid function tests. Letter stated my TSH needed to rise above 10 before any treatment. Most recent bloods in June were: TSH 2.3 (range 0.2 - 4.5) and Free t4 12 (range 9 -21) up from 10 in Feb same year).

Please can someone help me understand my blood results?
The alternative view however is that reverse T3 is effectively '
antithyroid
' - T3 is the active thyroid hormone that stimulates the body's energy system (metabolism). Reverse T3 is a mirror image - it goes into cells, and instead of controlling metabolic processes it blocks the effect of T3.

Peroxidase 47 - also high. She has been put on Euthyrox 25mg, and told to retest bloods in 6 weeks. She has been taking her medication for 6 days, but is still gloomy.

Trying to conceive with antithyroid peroxadase antibodies
I went to see a new consultant privately who asked my GP to test for
antithyroid
peroxadase antibodies. Mine are >1300 so basically off the chart. I have now been advised that I will not conceive naturally and that I need IVF with steroids.

Antithyroid peroxadase antibodies
It took an entire year (and much battling with GP about the reference range) to get down to a decent level (bounces between 0.4-1.1) I was recommended to go through IVF for "unexplained infertility" which resulted in a chemical pregnancy-no surprise at all when you read the literature on

Are anti-TPO and TgAb different tests?
According to STTM they are two different tests but just went on this link and it suggests they are the same: http://www.healthline.com/health/antithyroglobulin-antibody#Overview1 The relevant bit is near the top: The antithyroglobulin antibody test is also known as: thyroid autoantibody

Lower Serum 25-Hydroxyvitamin D Level is Associated With 3 Types of Autoimmune Thyroid Diseases
Serum 25(OH)D levels were associated with neither
antithyroid
peroxidase antibody nor antithyroglobulin antibody in GD and HT. There was no significant relationship between thyroid-stimulating hormone and 25(OH)D levels.
