Finally did it..👏🤣
Covid. 7 chest infections (many steroids &
antibiotics
) 2 day stay in hospital with pneumonia. and one cracked rib......🤦♂️ So if any fellow Ct5k friends out there who are struggling a bit... It can be done.👍. Take it slowly, go back weeks when you get a setback...extra rest days between runs.

First FDA-approved faecal microbiota pill for preventing recurrent C Difficile infection
The bacterium, which usually lives harmlessly among the other gut flora, may take advantage of gut dysbiosis following a course of
antibiotics
, multiply to infection levels and cause diarrhoea. The infection can be passed to others through the faeces.

I often get Strep A and have
antibiotics
I’ve asked on my Psoriasis group for any advice that others may have to help clear my skin.

Next phase of the plan after first transfer (ectopic)
I have requested for a lining check after my next period (which we are not doing a transfer on as I have an infection currently and on
antibiotics
, so using the time productively) as my consultant has suggested a no progesterone protocol for my next transfer when my body is healed within a natural cycle

I’ve been having this pain since October and was given
antibiotics
for diverticulitis. All my other UC symptoms are now gone and a colonoscopy and CT scan have ruled out any further bowel issues but the pain is still there and worsening.

I had to have a private gp to my hotel room who shot me in my bum and prescribed
antibiotics
and an inhaler, and no sunshine. I did however sit in the shade and felt the warmth on my body which is why I went!

Home Oxygen is a game changer
Nothing much else to report other than Covid not seeming to have left any long-term side-effects bar a bit of a chest infection immediately afterwards which was quickly nipped in the bud with
antibiotics

I don't want to start treatment ever, however I know that I probably will at some point.
I have experienced 2 Sinus Infections requiring
antibiotics
in 6 months. My Oncologist is trying to bully me into Targeted Therapy Trials & I have seen too much suffering with Cancer Treatments in my personal & professional life as an RN over 31yrs.

Worried about liver
understand the Fibro chart readings and know it could be Cirrhosis based on NAFLD whereas the Alcohol charts put it as F3 but I’m hoping the results are inflated due to my LFT still being raised and the symptoms I’m getting are my liver starting to recover from the alcohol, being overweight, the virus and

Anyone on biologics and suffering leg ulcers
I have only had one infection that was recently and required 2 weeks of
antibiotics
. I’ll be honest I’ve put off phoning my rheumatologist, as I dread him saying to stop everything, I’m already really struggling having missed 3 weeks. Does anyone else have leg ulcers and use biologics or dmards.

Can effectiveness of Methotrexate decline?
Because I had a urine infection and was repeatedly prescribed
antibiotics
on four occasions I stopped taking the methotrexate. I can say that my RA symptoms didn’t get worse for not taking MTX. Wonder how long does MTX stay in the system?

Dental Treatment after open heart surgery
My question is do I have to have
antibiotics
before any dental treatment and if so is it the Dentist who prescribes them. I have tried to get this information from the Internet but I find the information confusing. I am on medication including Edoxaban and dispersible aspirin.

Treating PD with levodopa combined with tetracycline (Effects of levodopa on gut bacterial antibiotic resistance in Parkinson’s disease rat)
The combination of levodopa and
antibiotics
, such as tetracycline and vancomycin, in the treatment of PD may decrease the amount of corresponding antibiotic resistance genes in gut bacteria, which would give a theoretical basis for treating PD with levodopa combined with tetracycline and vancomycin in
