Common Femoral Artery and Iliac angiogram & angioplasty
Hi I wonder if anyone else in this forum has had ongoing issues from a Common Femoral Artery and Iliac angiogram &
angioplasty
. I had both legs done in April of last year (10 months ago) and whilst the right leg seems to be 99% ok the left one isn’t.

High Calcium score
I had my angiogram and
angioplasty
in Sepember. I turns out that only my RCA needed stenting, it took 5 inflation of the balloon and a large stent was fitted.

"I Walked Out One Summer's Morning"
Instead of a day in hospital and an
angioplasty
it became three months and an amputation! I have only seen my house once since walking to the taxi when a friend took me for a drive by.

Coronary angioplasty very tired and cold afterward
3rd day after coronary
angioplasty
and feeling worse. I'm very cold and extremely tired with headache and aching muscles. Is this usual. I'm struggling to get from chair to kitchen to make a drink. Will there be light at the end of the tunnel soon.

Unexpected heart attack over Christmas
The care was amazing and after many tests I went through an angiogram/
angioplasty
procedure which discovered a blocked sub-artery in the heart. This was dealt with whilst in theatre- amazing and I can’t praise the cardiac team at Tunbridge Wells hospital enough.

Does anyone have experience of Radical Prostatectomy surgery or External Beam Therapy (with hormone therapy)?
I have great material from Prostatecancer UK and am in touch with neurology and urology While it is a long shot that one of you wonderful people would have the above including CIDP there may be experience of the surgery or radiotherapy/hormone therapy with
Angioplasty
. Many thanks Ken

Houston doc recommendations?
He needs the permanent version of an
angioplasty
and it don't trust it to be done where we live. He has an amazing doc at mdanderson from a recommendation on this site, we will have to see him once a month for 6 months so I'd like to find a heart doc in the area that people think highly of.

Calf Pain and PAD
I had both Iliac Arteries 'bored' out with balloon
angioplasty
in May of this year (Left leg fully occulted and Right leg was somehow back-filling the left with its own blockage as well), and whilst my mobility is much better the cramping in my Calf's is horrendous.

MichaelJH - A Further Update
Angioplasty
would have to be done via the foot and is very, vert risky! So for the moment it is "watch and wait" with a further review in a few weeks.

Dapagliflozin side effects
I went for a follow up
angioplasty
a couple of months ago and it was found that the heart attack had caused permanent damage to my heart (apparently now only 30% efficient) and was prescribed Dapagliflozin.

Ticagrelor bruising
Came home very bruised from the
angioplasty
. That cleared up well but have had all sorts of random bruising since then. They just appear each morning from nowhere, no apparent injury or even a minor knock. Was accepting it but they seem to be getting worse the last few weeks.

Losing the love of my life
Unfortunately a local hospital that is supposedly great for their hands on him for an
angioplasty
and truth sheer carelessness caused septic shock and then his lungs to get blocked by secretions which led to him his breathing to stop which led to his heart to stop.

Thank goodness for our NHS and BHF
I am so grateful to our NHS, they whisked me directly to the nearest hospital, not via A&E but directly to CCU and into the Cath lab as an emergency. 2 hours after waking I was undergoing
Angioplasty
and had 2 stents inserted into my heart.
