Is Generic Ampyra working for you?
I've been taking
Ampyra
for years. About 6+ months ago I noticed my walking was significantly worse. That's about the same time I started receiving the generic form of
Ampyra
. I don't believe it's working! Has anyone else taking the generic form found that your walking/gait has become worse?

Ampyra, working or too early!
I have been on the brand pill
Ampyra
for about two weeks now. Should I see an improvement by now, or is it too early yet. Before this, I was on the generic for a month and it didn't work; that's why I switched to the brand name. How long before I see some improvement? Thanks.

Neuro appointment today
Ampyra
has been my miracle drug and Rebif continues to work well. I am going to try a sleeping pill. Bad sleep and increased fatigue were my only complaints today. On a side note...my tomatoes are taller than I am!

Who else has adrenal insufficiency and MS?
I take
Ampyra
, a potassium channel blocker, so that I can walk, low dose hydrocortisone, and Apixiban. I have refused other medications because as I read about them I do not understand their benefit.

Spring Break Miracle
Ampyra
really has been a miracle worker for me. My family just spent four days hiking in southern Utah. Temperatures were perfect! Ready to be amazed? We hiked....27.53 miles!! That’s a marathon! I’m so excited! Now we’ll see if I pay for it next week!

I, too, am new but older than dirt!!
Now, suddenly now unable to walk, and the neurologist recommending
Ampyra
and it working almost immediately (within an hour), the neurologist acknowledge I have not RRMS but progressive MS. And the future however, more tenuous and uncertain, remains.

Just got

Relapsing Remitting ms (RRms)
Opiods and the like were not much help neither was
Ampyra
. This is not to say that one hundred percent for sure they will not help “YOU”. Al through this journey it pays to be willing to experiment on yourself. As the Briish Special Air Service motto says, Who Dares Wins.

4-AP/Ampyra
I spoke to my neurologist last visit about 4-AP because it has been talked about here sometimes with good success. I just received a call from her office that she was able to obtain at least 30 days of samples to use. I have a great neuro!

We only adjusted the time of day I take my second dose of
ampyra
. Interestingly, I asked him his go to med if I just can’t stand taking Rebif anymore. (I don’t have side effects and it’s working great, but hate shots).

Possible AMN
I especially like the look of Modafinil and
Ampyra
. Wish I had insurance now. I’ll have to buy online, maybe one of those Canadian pharmacies. Could I ask a question? If my vlcfa levels are high, do I still need a genetic test? If so, do I have to pay?

Damn insurance companies
I was on
ampyra
with a $10 copay then they switch me to the generic was free for a couple months and now they want to charge me a $200 copay for the generic and a $700 copay for the brand name. What the heck! I can't afford either one. What am I supposed to do? Anybody have any ideas? I am fuming.

Ampyra question
I am seeing my neuro on Wednesday and want to ask about
Ampyra
. Whether due to MS, my mercury poisoning or something else, my walking has been getting steadily worse. Does
Ampyra
have side effects anyone has experienced? Is it addictive?

Talking about MS with my son
That’s why I am on
Ampyra
, I tried the Trileptal and now I am taking the Ocrevus. Well I am glad I had that talk with him. He is a strong young man he has helped me out a lot of times. In many ways. I think it is a good thing to let your children know what is going on with your disease.

Ampyra and toe cramps
Anyone tried
ampyra
? It’s working fantastically for me and I’m walking much better. However, I’ve had a significant increase in cramping in my toes since starting. Wondering if they are related.
