Sinus infections
I was diagnosed hypothyroid in 1998,but suspect my thyroid had been struggling for awhile. In 2007 I started getting annual sinus infections.I would catch the common cold virus & this would lead to a sinus infection that would not shift until penicillin was prescribed, usually 2 courses.Other antibiotics

Antibiotics - amoxicillin
Sorry, yet another question. I've recently had a tooth infection and my dentist prescribed a course of antibiotics - Amoxicillin. I'm aware that this is one of the two most effective antibiotics used for cellulitis. Should I be avoiding using them for anything other than cellulitis, or doesn't it

Advice on Doxycycline with Steroids (anxiety and brain fog)
Hello there, I am new to this community, and I am hoping to get some advice about my asthma. Since last November, my asthma has taken a turn for the worse and hasn't recovered from the 2 attacks I had (one minor, the other moderate). After lots of antibiotics and steroids to clear up the infection

Sorry - another question!
Hi all, I seem to be posting here all the time at the minute - sorry! After starting a 2nd course of antibiotics for a chest infection that won't clear I today discovered I now also have a uti. So now I'm on my 4th course in 2months. I've been suffering bad leg pains and the Dr won't prescribe stronger

Feel like I'm being choked
I've had asthma since I was a toddler and it's mostly kept in check with inhalers and montelukast. I usually get chest infections in colder weather but I have strange symptoms just now. I live in Scotland so it's not been too crazy temperatures but up to 26 degrees. It feels like someone is strangling

Freaking myself out
I went to the doctor on Monday for an ear infection that I had for awhile. She gave me Amoxicillin. Thursday I wasn't feeling better, so emailed her. After sending the email, I looked at the pill bottle & realized I was supposed to tale it twice a day... misunderstood the pharmacist. Emailed her about

Not diagnosed with GCA - never heard of it till recently, sorry š - but worried as ESR high and GP suggested it as possible diagnosis...
Dear folks, I have had "weird" headaches *(stabbing/ electric shock feeling on the left handside of my skull together with a tender scalp)* over the last few years which never lasted any more than several hours at the most so I never bothered going to see GP about it, but since the beginning of July
