Why is my breathing suddenly so bad?
I have had asthma for years but although I admit I generally haven't taken my preventer regularly I have felt very comfortable. Suddenly my symptoms have become severe. No cough, just tight and unable to breathe easily. When it first started it was terrifying as my chest, diaphragm and ribs felt exhausted

Clearing of lungs after Bronchiestasis infection
Hi, this is going to make me sound really stupid, but I would like some advice on lung clearance, I was diagnosed with Bronchiestasis 4 years ago, and have had 3 infections in 3 months , seems to be clearing now with amoxicillin and prednisolone. Does anyone else find it difficult to do clearance after

Antibiotics triggering your RLS???
Hi folks! Just a query about whether any of you have experienced RLS from antibiotics. I currently have an intractable UTI that I've had since about the 20th of January. I'm on my third lot of antibiotics and I've been given Co-Amoxiclav, a combination antibiotic. On the second day of use I had very

My Name is Crazy Cat Woman, and I'm a Pill Popper
Prior to 2018, I took ibuprophen, Tylenol PMAirborne if I was exposed to people with colds, and almost every two months, I'd be taking 10 days of penecillin, amoxicillin, or
ampicillin
for abcessing teeth. Now, I take 14 presceiption medications! I got a new one yesterday (#14).

I have been on a ppi for probably 20 years now but have oesteoporosis and SIBO now too which can be caused by long term ppi treatment. I wanted to ask if any of you have had any luck reducing your dose of ppi. I have UCTD with Scleroderma gut involvement which includes SIBO, Aperistaltic oesophagus,

Amoxicillin and Flecainide / tooth infection = afib ?
Hi everyone. In a nutshell I went to visit the dentist with tooth ache 3 days ago - he said it's an infection and has put me on Amoxicillin for a week. This contains penicillin. I can't find any interaction with flec and Amoxicillin online. I've had quite a few irregular readings on my monitor since

Uncontrolled Asthma, repeated asthma attacks every day. Do I have bronchiectasis?
I am 52, slim, fit, healthy and quite fit with a balanced healthy diet no milk but plenty of bio yoghurt. I supplement with vit c, vit D and probiotics daily. I have had asthma since 4yo, productive chesty cough for twenty five years, chest infections two to six times a year swiftly cleared by Amoxicillin

Has Anyone on Tecfidera Received the COVID Vaccine?
Hello all! My job is offering us the COVID vaccine, so I was wondering if anyone here has received the vaccine while on Tecfidera? In addition to being on Tecfidera, I also have a medicinal allergy (allergic to all "-cillins": Amoxicillin, Penicillin, etc.). So, that throws another wrench in things

? Sinusitis
Hi ladies and gents, the last 6 months I’ve been suffering nose blocked every nights. In March I had a dose of amoxicillin and a steroid nasal spray, which help a bit. But the last 6 months I’ve been having constant blocked nose at night especially. The only helping to unblocked my nose is the Sudafed

Back pain/ infection
I have been diagnosed with pleurisy for the 2nd time. I have pain in my back at the bottom of my right lung. The doctors have given me amoxicillin the weakest antibiotic. It hasn’t worked and my pain is worse. Has anyone else had an infection and pain in the bottom of the lung that is like being stabbed
