Amitriptyline
Is anyone here on this? I’m having some sleep issues and my sister gave me low dose (10mg) to try !! I know, not the best idea but only 2 tablets 10mg each. Any experience/knowledge of this med in relation to af and apixaban. Google seems to indicate might cause palpitations but not clear.

Thought I finally had an answer for my pain
However over the past 3 years I’ve seen numerous physios private and NHS, chiropractor, podiatrist, musculoskeletal specialist, had an MRI on my lower back and hips, saw an osteopath tried codeine,
amitriptyline
and Nefopam for the pain and nothing has helped.

Advice needed
I just have 10mg if
Amitriptyline
at night. A friend of mine has had good results with St. John’s wort. Does anyone know if it’s safe to take during the day. With me having the other tablet at night. I know there’s certain things that don’t mix with St. John’s wort. Really appreciate any reply

Amitriptyline antidepressant for IBS
However he also prescribed me with
Amitriptyline
for IBS and depression. Looking up the side effects I'm not sure I want to try them. They're 10mg which is low I believe but if constipation is a side effect then what's the use in that. Anyone else take
Amitriptyline
?

Amitriptyline added to assist with prednisone tapering : GCA patient diagnosed feb 2018
I've been to see the specialist who advised I try taking 10mg of
amitriptyline
for pain associated with moderate steroid withdrawal. I'd have niggles of head ache and body aches all day--every day. It's been a week, and the medication is really helping. I'm surprised!

Not sure how to carry on / who or what can help me 🤞
I've tried taking
amitriptyline
and pregabalin (separately for 6-8 months each) and no relief. I paid for regular chiropractic treatment for 2 years which only offered slight relief for a couple of days. Been referred to physio who told me they cant help with FM.

Not the norm RA symptoms, is anyone else experiencing the same?
The one medication that has been effective is
amitriptyline
, I'm currently on 75mg. I am unable to take brufen etc as it affects my blood pressure. Codeine based meds makes me nauseous. Unfortunately it seems each increase in amitryptiline dose lasts only so long and then I'm struggling again.

Timescale for levo at night
Would the timescale be 2 hours after meal with only water in between and then after an hour I could take my low dose
amitriptyline
? When having blood test would I then leave 36 hours?

Amitriptyline dosage for depression?
Hi. I have recently been prescribed 25 mg Tryptizol to treat my depression. I have been prescribed many other "newer" anti depressants, but they all came with very undesirable side effects, one of which nearly killed me? That was Lamictal. That gave me SJS and my face swelled up like a balloon, and

Amitriptyline
Has any one been prescribed
Amitriptyline
for migranes. I have had an increase in aura migranes and the neurologist prescribed these to me. I have not started them yet but wondered if anyone else has tried them. It's a preventative medication not a pain killer

Fluoxetine - can it help IBS.
Hi I’ve been taking
Amitriptyline
20mg daily for a year and saw improvement in my symptoms. I now need to change to Fluoxetine for other health reasons. Has anyone any experience of taking Fluoxetine? Has it helped your symptoms? Would you recommend? Thanks

Restless legs keeps coming back
I took her to the gp and he has prescribed her with
amitriptyline
25mg for 2 weeks and pregabalin 25mg for 4 weeks. However after 5 days, she hasn't seen any improvement. Should I take her back to see the gp? I'm thinking to ask if he will prescribe her the patches.

Thank you
The eye tests were done at specsavers opticians, who I might say we're very good, and the lady who did the tests knew about GCA , she let me look at the scan results and explained everything to me Also the optician said that
Amitriptyline
can cause blurred eyes as she has had other patients with this

Please note that you need to be aware that you may actually experience migraines as a side affect of the
amitriptyline
, upset stomach and alias more symptoms.
