My pain meds started with cocodamol and naproxen, in Sept I was also prescribed
amitriptyline
and 2weeks ago morphine patches. Also tried all the lotions and potions on the market. I work in a high school as a teaching assistant which does involve lots of walking and standing which isn't good.

migraines/Headaches
They respond to codeine only (cant take a lot in case of addiction), although I have been placed on the brand
Amitriptyline
before which helped. However its actually classed as an anti depressant also so dont want to mix those in the cocktail too!!

Advice on meds that are prescribed with Pred
I’m also on Leflunomide 20mg per day and
Amitriptyline
20mg in the evening. Apart from the
Amitriptyline
, I take everything else first thing in the morning at breakfast, it seems an awful lot of pills to take in one go! Am I right in doing that?

Anxiety was due to overactive Thyroid
Im worried I'm going to get the full body sensations I got on
amitriptyline
. Anyway.. My message is keep digging team.. There's often something else behind the anxiety and you can recover even though you think you can't!

From MAOI to MAOI
The
amitriptyline
? I'm only on 25mg at night. Bupropion (Wellbutrin/Zyban) 300mg slow release? Was fine before when combined with 25mg dex and 10mg dex + 70mg Elvanse. Now I've relaxed for a while it's dropped a bit. It now reads 120/81, pulse 96bmp. Normal BP, not sure about pulse though.

Amitriptyline to Lexapro
I was prescribed with 10mg
Amitriptyline
to help me with my migraine, sleeping disorder and gastritis. In recent years, I also develop depression. Another clinician continue this meds for me and after almost two years, he recommended a change of meds which is Lexapro.

Pain
Does any one have any recommendations for dealing with the pain I’m currently on
amitriptyline
and have tried so many other types of medicine that I’m feeling like a lost cause. I’m willing to try anything so that I can function better at least whilst I’m still in education! Heather

Amitriptyline and AF
Just been prescribed
Amitriptyline
for neck pain and lack of sleep. Just read leaflet it says do not take if you have disturbance of the heart rhythm as seen on a ECG. My doctor said they would be alright with my AF. Unsure whether to take them. Anyone else take them?

Struggling to accept FND diagnosis.
Since then I have been prescribed
amitriptyline
and have seen no improvement. The heart palpitations are getting quite bad and I have generla chest discomfort and achy pains there, as well as a feeling of lump in my throat and a burning sensation in my throat, as well as abdominal pains.

Running out of treatments
I don't get on with any pain killers but might try a low dose of
amitriptyline
again although that dries my mouth out badly. I feel newly diagnosed again, this flare is such a shock after 11 years of doing better. I've had my RA 26 years and it's always been severe and hard to treat.

Looking for advice on Amitriptyline withdrawal
However I have been feeling quite weird since stopping the
Amitriptyline
, especially today where I’m feeling light-headed, nauseous and extremely tired. Is this possibly withdrawal symptoms?

Parietal cell antibody test
He then discharged me at the time wanting me togo on
amitriptyline
uo ti 50mg. So a dilemma. No neurologist to read my mri scsn result. No formal diagnosis to keep my B12 injections. I really don't understand why they put so many through this.

Why didn't *I* think of that?
Neurology eventually picked me up this April, and there's a five-phase plan to address the chronic migraine, currently on stepped-increase
Amitriptyline
, which is helping with the visual auras and pain, but not with the fatigue, insomnia, or vertigo.
