Potassium level high
My husband was put on Potassium chloride to prevent kidney stomes. He has stage 3 kidney disease. His potassium level came back 5.8 Is it because of the medication or the kidney disease. I wonder why this doctor would put him on potassium meds if he has kidney disease?

Can mild incline in potassium levels after b12 inj therapy explain heart palpitation and anxiety?
I'm probably deficient in b12 as I have many of the relevant symptoms (including neurological) so I started b12 injection therapy in the advice of my Doctor. I'm using cianocoblamin 1000 mcg injection each alternate day. I'm also mildly deficient with Iron so I take the Solgar "Gentle Iron" - 25mg byglicinate

Findings of the 2016 Article in MedCrave on 2 June 2016 in relation to the Use of Potassium Citrate in RLS?
Anyone got information on the Findings of the 2016 Article in MedCrave on 2 June 2016 in relation to the Use of Potassium Citrate in RLS? The Study in Bangladesh showed a 100% success rate in using Potassium Citrate in RLS in 2012. Has this been proven wider or was this just another false hope for us

Just egg?
Good morning, Has anyone ever tried just egg? I don’t think you can buy it in the Uk so it’s probably available in Australia and USA so I’m sure it will come this way with all things plant based taking off as they have. Here is the ingredients list Ingredients: Water, Mung Bean Protein Isolate, Expeller-Pressed

What are your thoughts on RAI, thyrodectamy and potassium Iodide?
I had gone to the doctor when my son was 7 months with complaints of weight gain and hair loss and was told that I looked good on paper with my thyroid levels still within the normal range, except I was on the very low end. In 2005, when my son was 18 months in August, I began having the classic hyperthyroid

Does L-tyrosine lower TSH and raise FT4 please?
After posting "Muscle Stiffness" on here 3 days ago, 5 people commented that my TSH was too-high normal and my FT4 too-low normal, and may help to explain why my muscles are still stiff despite stopping a short 12 week course of statins in April 17, 2 years ago. So, I would like to know if L-tyrosine

Question about a stone
This is really a question for a friend. She has only one kidney. She has a 12 mm and a 5mm stone in the lower lobe. Her GFR runs between 36-39. She is on Ramipril and then they put her on potassium citrate...which of course over loaded her system and she was hospitalized. She is off the potassium citrate

3rd time Potassium Citrate has worked!
Last night was the 3rd time that I'd went to bed and had taken nothing for RLS as I'm not on a prescribed medication yet. I went to bed without symptoms, notices about 1/2 hr in that I was getting it in my upper body again. Took 2 tablets and did not wake up all night other then to use the bathroom!

RLS moves
Started in my legs, went to my hips, now it's in my back and shoulders; it's not as easy to move the back as it is the legs! Flip flopin all night, not sure I can handle this getting any worse. I'm currently looking into high quantities of Potassium citrate and would like to try CBD oil; anyone had good

Urine infection treatments for AF sufferers
Hi all, last year I suffered with a urine infection and in desperation went to the chemist and bought some sodium citrate (popular remedy for symptoms for cystitis). Within literally one minute of drinking it I was in full blown AF. After spending one of the worst nights of my life with AF and terrible

Potassium iodide pre surgery
So I have my op on Friday for TT. The hospital in London called me to ask if I could go to my doc to get a prescription for potassium iodide. I live in Somerset and my pharmacy can’t get hold of it. I’m told it helps with excessive blood flow during surgery. It makes me slightly nervous that this is

I can't cry or shed tears!
Hello Everyone, I have a great concern about my eyes. I can't seem to cry at all or shed any tears! That worries me so much! I used to be able tp cru when I felt the need to do so but now I can't. My eyes seem dry...very dry! I didn't have this problem until I started taking and stopping that beta blocker
