Guide to cure health anxiety, or lower it to an extent in which it isn't debilitating.
My fear is
ALS
and so if I get it, I'll die in 1-3 years, maybe much longer if I get lucky. The thing is, I know I don't have
ALS
but I do fear that I will get it very soon, how I cope is that I understand I will enjoy my life equally as much as I do right now even, if I get the illness.

Question about leg pain.
My leg pain started after I continuously focused on my leg due to fears of
ALS
. As a result, now I get leg pains sometimes when I’m walking. When I walk for a bit, the pain seems to subside and go away completely.

Question about essential oils, and Epsom salt.
My question is, if I go through with all of these, will I get over this anxiety over
ALS
?

Starting a month ago, my fear got focused to
ALS
because I thought I slurred my speech and while searching for symptoms, that's what I found. I never really worried much about it being
ALS
until I looked at the other symptoms.

Leg pain.
This issue started after I read about
ALS
and how some people who got
ALS
were having leg pains before being diagnosed.

Chemo 18 dripping now. Good news on response.
Chemo 18 is 12 docetaxol and this is 6th jevtana. Stay the course, put next one off till 4 weeks for the Cornwall trip. The comparative bone scan showed marked decrease metastatic disease in right hip. Also on the ct many other spots were reduced. Mildly anemic 3.17 on red blood cells, whites are at

Most of the time I can accept it...and be grateful that it wasn't MS or
ALS
or Altzheimers, or a stroke. If I had to have one, I'd rather it be PD..... sometimes though, I get discouraged, and even angry at times.... but other times, like right now, I'm dealing with it pretty well.

I need a reminder...
Hi PBC family, I Hope everyone is doing as well as can be expected. And for those of you experiencing the worst of this stupid disease, many prayers go out for you everyday ❤. I know several of you have experienced upper right quadrant pain or URQP. Some have described it as a dull ache that may radiate

Health anxiety over ALS.
First issue it brought up was
ALS
, and I got so scared. I decided to search up if it was a problem with anxiety as well, and it was. This got me to feel relief for about an hour or two, but when I went to sleep, I searched more about
ALS
and its symptoms.

Help with anxiety, please!
I think the month of constant fear of living constantly with the thought of my breath, with the idea that I might get
ALS
(one of the worst anxiety I've ever had, constant worrying about how I'd die), and etc. has taken a toll on my brain activity.

Dr Brownstein's New Article re the dangers of Statins
Statin Use and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis—
ALS
I found it disturbing to read this new article but we've seen quite a number of members given statins for their higher cholesterol levels (which should reduce as levo is increased).

Newbie Advice
So I've been going backward and forward to my doctors quite some time and i've had thyroid tests that have been some what inconclusive but before I return this time I wondered if anyone has advice on the following results. This was a test done in april this year showing borderline and to retest. Pathology

Help with interpreting various blood results
Hi, I recently had a blood test for various things. (I have Psoriatic Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Sjörgren's Syndrome, Hashimoto's Thyroiditis and some of the tests are because of the meds I take). I was hoping someone could interpret my results, i.e. if there's anything I should be concerned about. I'm

Were in trouble here ...
Tried a support group through the St
Als
network, but that just didn’t click. Pointless yammering from the group leader that dragged on for hours. 9/2010-psa was 9, RP 1/11. Urologist said he got it all. Looked us in the eye and said “You will not die of Prostate cancer.” And now here we are.
