Hair loss/growth and t3
Posting this because I sometimes see questions here about hair loss. For me it has been a hypo symptom but it didn't go away even when on the 'right' dose of levo. I still don't understand why when my bloods looked good on levo (tsh under 1, t4/t3 high in range) my hair continued to thin until t3 was

Hi my son is 20 and he has
alopecia
universalis. He has no hair or body hair at all. After a soul destroying hospital appointment where the doc was very abrupt! We decided to try alternative medicine. Anything is worth a try.

Advice on blood results please
Hi everyone, I would appreciate some input into my latest( and former)results please. I have been up and down with Hashis some time now, it now seems to be getting more erratic. It started Aug, 2016 when I was feeling jittery etc., so went to my gp to ask for blood test. These were all taken early morning

eyelashes falling out help
the doc has said it could be her thyroid,
alopecia
or something else auto immune. However, her thyroid tsh is 1.8 (range 0.20 - 6) so its not that bad. She cant remember what her t4 or t3 were - she thinks they were middle of the range. Any thoughts - she is desperate

Hi. I've had lupus since I was 14. Now I'm 24. The first symptom that I got was hairloss. After doctor found out it was lupus and gave the medications, the hairloss stopped. But it was coming back again about 2 years later. Then after having hairloss for 2 years, it stopped. Now, I'm experiencing this

Worried mum
Having read a little bit about
alopecia
I'm wondering if we should be asking for some steroid based medication. He went to see GP and I can't understand why he was given anti vitals? Any suggestions would be great fully received.

Hashimotos Hairloss
Hi, I have hashimotos and I am currently slightly over replaced on levothyroxine. I have low calcium and am waiting on vitamin D results. 4 months ago I was undermedicated. For more than 6 months now I have been steadily losing hair and today I noticed a slight bald spot. Has this happened to anyone
