How to tell people to mind their own business!
So at a christening yesterday my mum’s friend (family friend for 25 ish years) took me to one side to pray at me and tell me ‘my time will come’. She also did this at Christmas in front of other people just after her daughter in law had told me about her pregnancy and with her 7 other grandchildren running

High FSH low Amh - Post pill related? Please please help
Hi all I literally just turned 30, and as a cruel joke have been told I have premature ovarian failure. My FSH was 65, then 49 two weeks later. My AMH was <1 but I don’t have an exact number. I feel like this can’t be right?! I went off the pill 5 months ago to TTC and haven’t had a period since. Hence

Autoimmune hepatitis
Apparently the liver biopsy I had done showed no stetosis but I've probably had
AIH
for at least 10 years. Previous gp's have just written my constantly high inflamitary markers.

AMH Level 6.2
Hi there, I’ve just had a letter from the Assisted Conception Unit to say my AMH is 6.2 and that’s within normal range. I’m relieved as this was worrying me given I’m 40. However, when googling AMH levels I’m seeing conflicting things! Some sites say this is low. Any thoughts or insight would be appreciated

Long protocol changed to short protocol
Hi all, happy Monday to everyone. I have spoken to my clinic today and they have changed my treatment from long protocol to short protocol due to high AMH. Has anyone else experienced this? Love and light xx

Liver disease connection to gum disease?
I have auto immune hepatitis (
AIH
) and developed gum disease around the same time. I'm sure they must be connected. My gum disease appears to have advanced, the dentist told me that the bone is starting to disappear on my teeth and it is severe for my age (I am 33).

AMH levels high... what does this mean?
Hi all, I have had my test results back from AMH bloods and my reading is 42. They said that this is on the high side but I don't really understand any of it to be honest. Hosptial said they will review treatment for IVF.... we haven't started yet. Any help to stop me worrying would be great. I cried

Advice on next steps
We had our review at care yesterday after our first ivf which was nhs funded. Although I got a bfn we were lucky enough to have a grade 1 frozen embryo. I am 40 with a amh of 6.6. I asked if rather than going into the fet if we could do a fresh cycle... my thinking being I am getting older and if the

5-HTP - A Trigger?
I take quite a few supplements. These days before I buy anything new I Google the name of the supplement and AFib to see if I get any legitimate hits. Wanting to try a new sleep aid that has 25 mg of 5-HTP I was surprised to see a few references that said 5-HTP was a trigger for some. Because it helps

3rd AMH level results and confused
Hi I've had AMH result today which was 2.6. My first reading which was August 2017 was 4.9. When we went private my 2nd reading was 7 and most recent nhs reading today is 2.6. How accurate are these reading? I know all 3 are very low but why was the 2nd higher? Or are they just a general guide? Has anyone

Trying to deny what is real
One of the things I value more than anything else is honesty, I hate deceit. That makes this post so hard to type. When I was in hospital last year one of the biggest issues we processed was growing up in a family where my Dad and an older brother were pedophiles. Even typing that is hard. Unfortunately

Need some advice please...
OH & I decided not to continue with treatment after having 5 unsuccessful cycles of IVF/ICSI. We were referred for treatment after Initial tests showed very low AMH, below 1, and slightly lower sperm parameters than usual. Haven't been back to GP since initial tests and referral 2+ years ago. Decided

Egg collection complete....now the wait.
Hi all had egg collection Monday morning and they only got 2 wee eggs. On plus side they were mature and they were able to complete ICSI and got a call this morning to say they both fertalised so another hurdle jumped. They said was too soon to judge quality but my age (38) and 1.7 amh suggested quality

Still hoping to get BFP...
Hello everyone! I appreciate the chance to be a member of this group. It is important for me and my DH to have an opportunity to socialize with other people who are moving ahead of the same or a similar road with us. I am 39 and have been TTC for the last 7 years. Half-term running 🚴🏻♂️🏃♀️
Pre-run faffage today included: prising my son away from Captain Underpants; getting him to put on his underpants and other attire; a bit of grumbling; pumping up bicycle tyres; raising the seat; administering first aid and comfort to child when he braked using only the front brake on a downhill with

How do you know your egg quality is poor?
Hi ladies I'm trying to think up a plan (to protect my heart, really) just in case our upcoming round is poor just like our first. Most doctors we've seen since our first round (15 collected, 14 mature, 8 fertilised with ICSI, a few made it to blast but only one good enough to transfer and none to freeze

Rescue required
Been nursing a slightly grumbly knee for a while, but it’s generally been fine if I don’t stray far beyond 10k. Found myself on a lane in the middle of nowhere today, about the furthest point from home, when it finally gave up. Slight grumble became full on pain, and when I walked for a bit I found
