Egg collection approaching & I’ve a high right ovary, any suggestions how to shake it into a better position?!
Hello, My wife & I are under going our first round of IVF (after 6 failed IUIs). I’m a healthy 35 year old and been doing all the greatest things to help improve my fertility over the last 20 months, when we discovered I had a low AMH of 2.1. Currently on day 11 of stims, my scan on day 6 showed 1 follicle

Coeliac related auto-immune hepatitis
Just been diagnosed with this - last year had sudden severe jaundice ALT > 1200 etc. CT and liver biopsy revealed inflamed liver and pancreas, the liver biopsy showing slight focal necrosis. The blood tests showed the presence of Coeliac related antibodies (TTG/EMA), subsequent biopsy of the duodenum

Sleep aid that seems to be working
Like a lot of us with a head injury, I suffer from sleep problems. I doze off intermittently at random times during the day and then at night time. I only have a few hours sleep. Over the years, I have tried all the usual advice - no drinks late at night, reduce "screen" time, dark room, cold room,

Anyone in their 40s IVF success?
I will be starting round two next week. I am desperate to become a mother. Want to make sure I do everything I can. Women with low AMH in their 40s are there any success stories? What dosage and protocol? X

I need someone to talk to!
Hello, I’m new to this site. I have an interesting story and am looking for someone in a similar situation. I am 32 years old with no children and a family history of premature ovarian failure. The doctor says I will likely have POF. My AMH level is 0.375, dropping from 1.4 a year and a half ago. In

AMH result
Just got my AMH result back today, I’m 38 and my level is 6.5. From my understanding this is slightly lower than normal but I should still get a reasonable response from ovarian stimulation when we start our treatment, is this correct? Does anyone have any experience of success with less than good AMH

Feeling up and down.......just waiting!!!
My husband and I have reached the top of the fertility waiting list, so excited when we got this letter. I got my AMH bloods 3 weeks ago tomorrow and I got a letter last Monday saying everything was good and within normal limits - again this made me so happy. However, today, I feel up and down, waiting

Anyone here had gout after diagnosis?
I was diagnosed with
AIH
in April and am gradually getting used to the various bodily changes brought about by the disease itself and the drugs. But one problem that won't go away is gout in my RH big thumb joint.

High FSH and normal AMH
Hello everyone, I think I’m a bit of an odd one! I have recently been told my FSH is high, however, all of my other tests have come back positive. Ovulating, normal cycle, average AMH and LH levels and plenty of follicles when checked. I’m being sent to see an endocrinologist to see why the FSH is

11dp5dt..... Nothing
I know deep down (like last time) it's game over but I don't know how the hell to get through until January until I can go again. What if it fails a third time? OTD Sunday. I know I'll never give up on this dream but why does it have to be so God damn hard. Just feel utter deep sadness constantly. Feel

Anyone with low AMH and success stories?
My AMH was 1.1 and AFC 3 in September. My TSH was just over 4 so am on 50mg Levo. Had an early miscarriage in May. Am almost 40, bmi 19, non smoker/drinker, love food so great diet, exercise. Shocked at such a low AMH. No male factor issues. 27 day cycle, I ovulate every single cycle, day 12/13. This

Waiting for follicles to grow
Hi everyone, so this is day 14 of stimming and I was told yesterday that my follicles still weren’t at the correct size for egg collection on Friday. I have to go back on Friday for another scan and hopefully collection is going to be Monday. This happened on my last egg collection too but can’t help

Oxford half- alrighty here is the race report. I could NOT have done this without the support & encouragement of all you lovely people xxx
First of all I want to say the star of the show was linda9389 She came all the way to meet me, cycled the last bit of the journey in pouring rain, kept me company, held stuff for me while I went to the loo, walked to the start with me, then took some fab photos (most of the ones in the collage were hers

We are off to see the wizard, the wonderful wizard of Oz
0630 no rain to load the car, Yippee. Although I will be just an observer, no humping for me, going to start off the right way. A whole Carphone Warehouse carrier bag full to the brim with my meds! Plus a first aid kit in preparation for any skin tears, that I am now very prone to getting without even

What should progesterone levels be? /implantation failure question please x
I'm so concerned by progesterone levels that I'm having mine tested tomorrow (whilst on lubion and ustrogesten pessaries). When I had the 21 day progesterone level with my GP my levels were 32 confirming that I'd ovulated. My GP said that it needed to be over 28 to confirm ovulation. That still seems

HELP with getting sleep!
HELP! My DH isn't sleeping well at all. He's tried Natrol 10mg Melatonin and it wasn't that great. I then got Natrol Melatonin Advance Sleep 10mg Melatonin (it's a 2 layer time release to help fall asleep quickly, then the inner layer helps you sleep through the night), sounded good, but it was worse

De-alcoholised wine?
Severe
AIH
and stage 1 cirrhosis. I started on the high dose prednisone yesterday. So far, not too terrible. I’ve been invited to a party tonight and my question is, is de alcoholised wine ok to drink (moderately) with cirrhosis.
