1st IVF BFN, Age 40, low fertilisation, any tests or recommendations?
Hello, I have just finished my 2ww, it was a BFN :( after our first cycle. We have two more cycles so I’m looking for any recommendations or tests that might help our us make improvements. In summary (11 AMH in Sept 23 & AFC 21) this dropped to AFC 11 before EC Aug 24 unsure current AMH. I had 8 eggs

Hi all, Background ; 35, AMH 13, RM Really devestated at ER results due to low mature % (11 retrieved, 3 mature) and looking for opinions on how the cycle was managed. This was our first IVF cycle and we chose a clinic in Prague after doing some research. My protocol was originally 300ml Gonal for

Should AMH be tested?
Hi, We were referred for ICSI after TTC for 2 years due to my husband’s kryptozoospermia. I am 38. We’ve had 1 full cycle where we got 6 eggs, 5 mature, 3 fertilised and 2 progressed to blastocysts, unfortunately neither transfer was successful. As we are moving from NHS to self funded, before trying

Cancelled cycle due to bad response
Hello everyone, I am posting this for a Friend who is in need of experiences and feedback on her situation. Her cycle was cancelled because her oocytes (eggs) did not grow during stimulation. She has looked into various causes (her amh is good) and thinks that it is due to deficiency in estrogen. She

Lister Portland street/Chelsea Bridge
Hi, anyone experienced the above clinics? Both Lister clinic but they have independent lab and own consultants, anyone know the difference? Which one is better for advanced age/low AMH/FC IVF treatment please? Thanks!

Failed Fertilisation with ICSI
Hi everyone, Me and my partner have just had our first IVF cycle. We had originally decided not to do ICSI as my partners sperm parameters were normal. I have a low AMH and had a low AFC of 4 at the start of this cycle, but against the odds I did respond to stims better than I thought and we managed

Disappointed with stims response:(
Currently on day 11 of stims injections, had a scan on Tuesday ( day 8 of stims) and lining was 5mm and had around 18 follicles all around same sizes about 6-8mm was on 150 for my injections so they upped it from Tuesday to 225 now, went back today for another scan now lining is 7mm and had around 5

Supplement overkill?
Hello, after my cancelled egg collection I am now going privately. During this time I’ve read ‘it starts with the egg’ and as I am 33 with an AFC of 4 and AMH of 3. something I started taking everything! Now I’m worried it is a bit overkill and also it’s really expensive. I know it’s hard for someone

Egg Quality
God I feel old today! I had my consultation with my clinic regarding my latest negative test & she pretty much said it's simply the egg quality because of age. I'm 39 next month with an AMH of 8.5. Both cycles I've been getting around 3 or 4 mature eggs. Only 1 blast each round. I have 2 more rounds

First EC yday - 8 collected, 2 Fertilised by Day 1
Had my first ever EC yesterday age 40 (the procedure wasn’t as bad as suspected) we got 8 eggs, we had 7 counted at the last scan so I was happy with that. We had our first call from the embryologist today and we have 2 which fertilised. This is lower than anticipated. I’m still glad we have 2 and I

TSH levels - and no help from clinic
Hi all - I really am a bit stuck and not sure how to proceed and would really appreciate some advice. I undertook a blood test in July with Hertility to check testosterone, AMH etc and was surprised to find my TSH was higher than expected: 2.79mIU/L. The Hertility Dr reviewing the results said I should

AMH 30 but only 7 follicles?
Hello! I’m age 39, all general female fertility tests came back OK and with AMH 30 pmol (above average for my age). We have male factor infertility and are having IVF with ICSI. I only had 7 follicles at first scan and egg collection - (7 collected, 6 mature/injected, 5 fertilised, 4 top grade embryos

AMH Fluctuations
I had my AMH tested last July and it was 5pmol. I had it tested this month and it's 8.5pmol. Has anyone seen an increase like this? Took me by surprise today. I felt under pressure last year to get a move on with IVF but they've failed so far.

IVF round 2 - failed
I've tested this morning 10DP5DT & my test is stark white negative. I'm numb, disappointed, sad... I don't know what I could have done differently. My lining was good, the blast was rated good - I was really hopeful & now it's over. First round (Meriofert) was 3 mature eggs retrieved, 2 fertilised, 1

Low AMH / One egg - success story (sensitive)
I just wanted to share my news as I know I spent many many hours scrolling through these forums looking for stories to give me hope. After 15 months of trying (and failing) to conceive we found out I had very low AMH which was rapidly declining (went from 4.8 to 1.7 in about 7 months) and my partner

First FET - how chilled to be after?
Hi all, Just starting our 2nd IVF attempt with a FET, with our only frozen embryo. We’ve been trying for 2 years, tests show I have a low AMH of around 4, and husband had varicocele causing low motility, count & shape. We had ICSI in spring this year which sadly didn’t implant, so really nervous about

It feels like it has been 2 weeks already lol. I've been having slight cramps the past few days & yesterday had a teenie bit of brown spotting but putting that down to the transfer. Due to test on 29th July - I don't think I'll test early as it bursts the hope bubble & I want to stay in it as long

MTFHR and possible immune disorder
hello everyone, I have been down and frustrated to say the least on this journey. IVF seems to have taken over my life. I spoke to a doctor in US to get a second opinion was I wasn’t happy with my old clinic. I am going to be 44 and I have been told by this doctor that I may have premature ovarian

IVF options
Hi, I just wondered if anyone has heard of/used mild or natural IVF rather than traditional IVF? Especially if you’re over 40? I’d not heard of these previously, so it’s all new to me, and we have been told given my age (42) and the fact my AMH level is low etc, this could potentially have more chance

hormonal stimulation or natural cycle IVF
hello, I’m 43 and with anti-muller hormone at 0.48 my doctor says I need to do a light hormonal stimulation so that she gets sufficient quantity of eggs retrieval. My dear is triggering hormonal cancers by the injections. Initially I thought I would do a natural cycle ivf (no hormonal injections), but
