Badminton Bolt 10K Race Report ⚡️😎👍
I had to do this one. It’s on my doorstep, the funds go to support a local school, the location is beautiful and it was my first 10K race since December 2021!!! Oh, and there was going to be bling 🤩 I didn’t find out until this morning that this was the very first Bolt 10K. There has been a 5K before

Learn CPR and Defibrillator training
More people need CPR training. Not enough people do. I am an ex Nurse and Firefighter and seen first hand the benefits of learning CPR ect. I now have my First Aid Instructor qualification and teach Basic Life Support-CPR-Defibrillator training. My own training has helped me in 2 different situations

sleep aid
just sharing a link that is a new product helpful for sleep. It was recommended by a very well know integrative doctor in California. I am not recommending it for restless legs, but my sister and her husband say it helps with sleep. https://lifewave.com

Cortisol saliva test results
I’ve just had my third cortisol saliva test done and am interested to get advice from the experts on here eg the very knowledgeable humanbean! It basically tells the story of how I feel. Unable to get out of bed without a cup of tea. Able to do some light jobs/activities in the morning. Tired after

Hi Until December last I was taking 40 mg iron bisglycinate with orange juice every two days. Since this had little impact on my RLS I increased the iron dose to 40mg every day from December until now. As yet I have noticed little change to my RLS symptoms. A blood test this month showed my ferritin

Thank you to all who advised on my previous post. I have almost completed the first month back on 20mg day of prednisone. The effect was immediate, pain gone, stiffness gone, fatigue better, am motivated and catching up with chores I had neglected for months. I feel more positive now, even started

Xtandi (enzalutimide) SEs Part 2
Since I've increased my Xtandi from 80 mg to 160 mg, I am now experiencing a bad case of the jimmy legs (restless legs) at night. I take my Xtandi around 8 pm. I still work full time and I've read that taking it at night helps avoid the fatigue during the day. So far that seems to be the case with

So I talked to my consultant at my clinic and said I thought I was having an
AIH
flare up. Took a month of steroids - no change.

Taking hours to fall asleep
Gabapentin has controlled my RLS for last year or so. I only take 600 mg at bedtime for last 3/4 months now. I have recently started having difficulty falling asleep (no RLS, just wide awake for 3/4 hours). I thought about asking for a sleep aid from GP but didn't want to take anything that would aggrevate

I was sent to a specialist again and had an ultrasound which didn’t find anything of note, then a biopsy of which the pathologist said the samples were characteristic of
AIH
. Being quite rare especially in men the consultant seemed wary as my ASM was only very slightly elevated.

how many embryo are enough ?
hi all, have been overthinking this for many months so I’d like to post here. Due to personal circumstances I decided this year to do 2 EC (I have low AMH although AFC seemed ok). We have never tried for a child but we could not plan for a family this year and that gave me a lot of anxiety hence why

Time to try IVF?
Hello everyone I am 35 years old (turning 36 next month). My husband and I have been trying naturally for 8 months. We tried IUI in July and this month but it didn't work. My AMH is low (3 pmol/L) and latest FSH is 8 (though it was 23 three months ago in June, apparently it is normal for FSH to fluctuate

Got period before egg collection!
Hi ladies,I was on menopur 600iU dose & synarel nasal spray. My AMH is low already. The ultrasound only showed like 1-2 follicles & they were growing very slow as well. Still the clinic wanted to go with egg collection. I was due for last scan tomorrow to make sure those 2 follicles reached appropriate

confused about amh
Just had our first consult via video call. We have been told that my AMH is low and we will need IVF with ICSI and possibly donor eggs as I will need high doses of meds and may not respond well. I’m 40 in April, my AMH is 3.4 and on my antral follicle count I had 14 on my right ovary and 1 on my left

Failed ICSI fertilisation first attempt with only 1 mature egg
Hi, I just went through our first ICSI attempt and unfortunately only 1 egg has been retrieved and after ICSI there was no sign of fertilisation. I have low AMH (I am 36 years old and my AMH is 1.2) and my partner has male factor as well. I went through a failed cycle in June with stimulation stopped
