Immuno suppressant choice and no response to Pred treatment
Morning everyone, I posted on here a few weeks ago as my 19 year old son Adam Green had been diagnosed with
AIH
. Yesterday we had a follow up consultation and he was told he has Cirrhosis stage A/B. Decompensated Transplant may be the option going forwards.

Can low weight take a toll on Dexa results?
I've recently heard and read lots of conversations regarding DEXA results and low weight, I was diagnosed with osteopenia at the age of 31 (a year after my pregnancy) my height is 160cm my weight used to be 49 kg. No underlying health reasons were found except extremely low D vit and calcium levels

Tests for failed implantation - worth it at 43?
Hi all, sorry, it's me again.I've had 4 failed fresh cycles last year (1 single and three double transfers). I think the main reason that these have failed is due to embryo quality. Some of the transfers were early blastocysts/ morulas and they weren't top grade. However my consultant has suggested

https://www.nature.com/articles/s41440-019-0223-9 I am wondering if anyone uses melatonin to slow progress of kidney disease? Although seen primarily as a sleep aid melatonin has many beneficial effects throughout the body. I have been taking 20 mg per night for 4 years for another issue with beneficial

Complete change over in GPs is causing problems
I said am not being funny but my liver markers have been raised for several years now and as I have a severe form of vitiligo it is known to known to have a high link to
AIH
I'd like to be assessed. That's not possible there isn't a test. There is said I but I expect only a specialist can test.

Second egg collection and second failed fertilisation - do I now need to consider donor eggs? I have one round left….
hi As my question states, I have just had the call to let me know that our second round of natural modified IVF has failed as the egg did not fertilise. We have paid for a three round package, that was our second round, we now only have one left. We already have a beautiful daughter together through

Excellent sleep aid
Hi gang. You all know the trouble I’ve had sleeping recently. Well last night I added two new elements to my routine: CBD oil and this product from a Canadian? firm called Comfort Linen . The sheets etc are designed to work together and I must say I was very impressed with the freeing up of my movements

So many questions. Male fertility affected by Covid? Diminished Ovarian Reserve? 1st Failed IVF with 5AA embryo? Any additional advice?
I’m sorry in advance for the rant and lengthy post, but I feel the need to just talk about what’s going on and no one else I know is going through IVF. I’m 30, my husband is 34, we have been trying for a year with 1 miscarriage and 1 chemical pregnancy. We had fertility testing in October and found

Thyroid Tests and Fertility/FET
Hi I would really appreciate some advice from someone who knows about Thyroid/TSH results. I feel like I am losing my mind thinking about this but I think I may just be stressing myself out unnecessarily and overthinking things since going back into the IVF world. Long story short, I underwent fertility

Fluctuating AMH Levels and then huge decline in one year.
Hi, I am just interested in whether anyone has been in a similar position. I am 34. I had my AMH and AFC tested 3 months before I turned 34. My AFC was good at 19 but my AMH was low for my age at 8.9. Two weeks later, I got my AMH retested and it was 6.2. I thought AMH wasn’t meant to change that much

I have low AMH 4.1pmol and I'm 34 in 1 week! My 4 year relationship has just broken down as per all the stress and strain of trying for a baby for 3 years and failed IVF. I'm considering freezing my eggs and preserve my chances of being a mum but do I need to panic and start doing that yet? I was

CIRRHOSIS & BREAST CANCER?
My husband, now 84 has been on and off here since his cirrhosis diagnosis post
AIH
January 2014. He has gone from compensated to decompensated with a 6 month prognosis back to compensated, problems with a large portal vein thrombosis and varices but otherwise remarkably fit and pretty stable.

i have depression, suicidal ideation and I don't know what to do.
it took me two weeks to taper from lexapro to Cymbalta. I've now been on Cymbalta since 10.14.22 (2 weeks) at 60. I'm also on lithium. I have had very weird side effects. It was very hard for me to sleep. Sometimes 3 or 4 hours, sometimes up all night. We kept switching Cymbalta from day to night and

Scared and feel defeated already re IVF
Hi all, I know this sounds bad but I’m currently going through a IVF and I’m just so worried it’s not going to work for me. I am trying to remain positive but my mind is in a dark place and it’s taken over. I don’t know what I’m going to do if it fails or I have a miscarriage I just feel so drained.
