DHEA and CoEnzyme
Hey all, After my third BFN, me and my partner had our consultation review to discuss next steps for our final NHS funded round. My numbers of eggs during EC have been low on both rounds and was told that my AMH is low. He recommended me taking DHEA and CoEnzyme Q10 for 10-12 weeks before proceeding

Beginning my IVF journey & confused about next steps - help!
Hi, I’m new here. I’m 44 and single, and have realised - very late in the day - that I would like to try and have a baby. I received the results of my fertility MOT yesterday, but my meeting was rather hurried, and I’m confused about what to do next. I still need to receive my results in writing, but

Possible endometrioma seen during fertility scans. How to address / diagnose? Input really welcomed
Hi - I am new on this group and wondered if anyone can share knowledge / input. I have been through a few IVF cycles over the course of 2 years (no live birth yet). Sorry for long-ish post. I have been scanned by several different gynacologists / fertility consultants during my clinic visits. Sometimes

hysteroscopy thoughts?
welcome people’s thoughts and comments on the above? We’ve had 4 failed transfers and unexplained in fertility. Graded 1C’s transferred with each transfer. MC bloods undertaken and everything came back ok. Currently having AMH levels checked as not been done for 2.5 years and nearly 40. When spoke to

Long protocol, ICSI, AMH 10.6 and Adenomyosis - has anyone had any experience with this combination?
Evening ladies Got the phonecall this week that we will be starting our NHS funded round of ICSI when my cycle starts next week.... Eek! Due to my age and adenomyosis they are putting me on long protocol so egg collection will be towards end April. We are having ICSI due to low sperm count. I have read

Cancelled cycle high responder to low response! The irony 🤯
Updated: Morning everyone. Just an update from me. Had my second scan this morning and still only 2 follicles are responding (10mm and 14mm) I've said I want to cancel and am waiting on Dr calling me. It's a very unusual response given that I spent all of last year battling with over responding, ohss

16 eggs collected only one fertilised and transferred
Has anyone else had a similar experience with a positive outcome? I am 43 just startng ivf as when we were tested 18mths ago we were told we had a good chance of conceiving naturally (my 3.5 year old was conceived naturally at 39). AMH has dropped a bit since then (27 pmol to 19) and FC 25 down to 11

Low AMH and Metformin (insulin resistance)
Hi all I know Metformin is often used in fertility for people who have PCOS, therefore with a high ovarian reserve. I have had an insulin resistance test recently which showed elevated levels, it has been suggested I take Metformin for it. I have low AMH though and am a little worried about whether

CPR Courses
There was an interesting post recently about training in resuscitation techniques. Inspired by this I contacted The Red Cross. Here's their reply, unfortunately no CPR training near to me, but for anyone in London, Salford, Edinburgh, or Belfast there's an opportunity to acquire a skill that might

Daily Updates post egg collection: warning - good result which might not be what you want to read right now
I just wanted to share my story and updates incase anyone is travelling the same. I just know that when I went through my first round of ICSI in 2020, I was always desperately searching for daily updates post egg collection. I know you can’t really compare stories given there are so many variables at

egg collection
** only 1 fertilised 🥺 Had our egg collection this morning - wasn’t as scary as I thought! We managed 6 eggs - seems a bit low considering my age (I’m 35), AMH and the fact I had 14 follicles. Really hoping they’re mature and fertilise…we were also booked for ICSI but they said only IVF is needed 🤷
