Does your anxiety make you feel like this?
I was assessed and told I had general anxiety disorder,
agoraphobia
and mild depression which was due to my awful situation. I had lost my Nan July 2012, 3 months later my brother attacked me and my family turned their backs on me.

Nervous about going away tomorrow
Being physically ill triggered my anxiety, makes me feel scared to go out alone (hence the fear of needing a doctor or hospitals as having
agoraphobia
I couldn't cope).... lots of damn fears. Any words of wisdom?

Thinking out loud
Because what I fear most is not panic attacks, PTSD,
agoraphobia
.. What I fear most is living another day under the same, ill thought conditions I was in the day before.

LAF has led to Agoraphobia
But the other bad thing is that my obsession with fear of an Afib episode has led me to fear everything and develop
agoraphobia
. I have anxiety about everything. Even leaving the house and going to dinner is now a chore. I am also afraid to travel more than 30 minutes from home.

Help! Think I have made things worse :(
I can't even get out now because of the
agoraphobia
and as hard as I try I am finding it very difficult to keep myself occupied and distracted :( I know I am repeating myself but it has to end somewhere.

Please can I ask a few questions before I start thyroxine?
. * High anxiety,
agoraphobia
, fear of fainting and collapsing. * Weak thighs and arms often. *Brain fog, poor concentration. *Dry mouth some days. * Very thin eyebrow hairs. No need to pluck anymore. * At times I feel very tearful.

Is it normal to feel so poorly with hypothyroidism?
It has all been a huge trigger for my anxiety and
agoraphobia
. I rarely go out alone as I feel so grim. My tsh last summer was 5.35 (0.35-5.5) and ft4 11 (7-17) gp ignored my fatigue branding me anxious. By January tsh was 6.54 (0.27-4.2) ft4 14.7 (12-22).

I am so scared of what might happen...
I have suffered with Anxiety, Depression and Panic Attacks for many years and just want it to be over, I have had claustrophobia and
agoraphobia
at the same time which was as the result of a trauma that returned from my childhood, I still have not got it under control and when it comes I feel like I

How Dare they think we are faking ANXIETY!
So, I am offically and medically diganosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder with Panic Attacks and I suffer from
Agoraphobia
. Today I am having an exceptionally good day and on my own go visit a friend. Mind you, I hardly ever leave my house to go anywhere unless it is absolutely necessary.

Spoke to my GP re starting treatment.
I am developing
agoraphobia
because of this. I cannot carry on like this, a dog wouldn't be left struggling like this! I am a mother to 3 children, I have no family support as my husband works long hours.

Relapse of panic and anxiety
I know it takes 4-6 wks for the celexa to kick in but unfortunately I don't have the luxury of time since graduation is around the corner, I also am experiencing some
agoraphobia
but making myself do the things that need to be done but feel awful while in class or at the hospital.

Overcoming anxiety
Since last September I have been suffering with horrible anxiety, panic disorder,
agoraphobia
and depression. I was an absolute mess I couldn't even remember who I was, it was heartbreaking for me that I lost myself so much I couldn't recognise anything I used to be.

Mirtazapine/Remeron
I never battled
agoraphobia
or intrusive thoughts that caused panic attacks until my brother turned very violent (he has BPD) and he attacked my husband randomly infront of our children.

Before I do my last test before GP treats me. Adrenal Q
When I posted here with my latest results a month or so ago I had many suggest I didn't have an actual thyroid issue, more an adrenal issue from all the stress i have been under as the stress has led to my anxiety disorder and
agoraphobia
rearing it's head again which I haven't had in a couple of years

Coming off the combined pill
I've even had
agoraphobia
creep back in due to how weak and dizzy I've felt. I'm just now coming out of it and getting back out doing exposure work. I feel happy and positive again.
