An Update On My Father's PCa - Test Results/Treatment Plan
With that being said, the urologist said he would not be surprised if it has microscopically spread (micro-metastasized) based on Gleason 9 and 12/12 of the cores coming back as positive for
Adenocarcinoma
PCa.

NSCLC operated in March, starting chemotherapy on Monday
I had a 5 cm
adenocarcinoma
removed from my lung during an upper right lobectomy this March and have recovered well physically. My tumour was discovered 31/01/2019. It is apparently stage 2a and has not spread detectably. I am 42 years old and a mother to two young sons at 2 and 4 years old.

How long does Lupron + Zytiga take to be effective?
Prostate Biopsy showed
adenocarcinoma
in 12 of 15 samples, all GS 4+4, except two 4+5. Prostate is 102 g. I’m 70. My question has to do with when Lupron and or Zytiga become effective. Started Lupron 35 days ago and zytiga 15 days ago. My PSA before starting treatment was 8.4.

1 year on Zytiga
He was originally diagnosed with a G7 (4+3)
Adenocarcinoma
back in April 2017 and had both RP (failed but I think still helped him greatly) and a lighter version of Docetaxel chemo before starting Zytiga. He never had bone mets, always lymph nodes. Best wishes to all the other fighters!

Diagnosed early March 2019, but pretty far along. 103 g prostrate -
adenocarcinoma
in 10 of 15 samples, all with Gleason 4+4 = 8, most samples show cancer at 60% - 100%. Metastasized to the retroperitoneal lymph nodes proven by biopsy. Strangely, the pelvic nodes seem normal.

Testing for glutamine levels to check for transformation to neuroendocrine cancer from adenocarcinoma?
"To our surprise, we found this type of therapy further changed the cellular environment in a way that caused
adenocarcinoma
cells in the prostate to transform into neuroendocrine cancer-type cells," said Bhowmick, professor of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.

3 Years Post Diagnosis.
I was started onto Xtandi, which improved my symptoms, but a biopsy a few months later revealed that my prostate
adenocarcinoma
had morphed and was now 90% small-cell and 10% sarcomatoid. I had two TURPS in 2 months, to allow me to pee and I went from self-catheterising to 100% incontinent.

I have non-small cell
adenocarcinoma
, quite a rare type. My cancer is currently responding well to a targeted biological therapy taken daily as a pill, lots of side effects but so fortunate not to be on chemo (yet). Prognosis 1-4 years. I’m 44 with three young children.
