New at this
Was diagnosed with
adenocarcinoma
lung cancer in May. Am having the lower lobe of my right lung removed in 4 days. Looks like it is positive for both TTF-1 and Napsin-A. Do not understand what the last part means.

Mets to ribs soon after NSCLC surgery?
My mum had surgery for
adenocarcinoma
11 weeks ago and was found to have microscopic cells in the lymph nodes and visceral pleura... we are a bit surprised that metastasis is being discussed so soon after surgery particularly when it was completely resected.

Pet scan before chemo??
Hi all My mum is due to start chemotherapy next week for lung
Adenocarcinoma
which was initially thought to be early stage but after surgery was deemed a bit more advanced due to microscopic cells being found in the visceral pleura and lymph nodes.

GI issues or celiac as complication of longterm chemotherapy?
I've been off the grid all of June dealing with chronic diarhea while living with stage four NSCLC
adenocarcinoma
(stable) with pemetrexed (Alimta) treatment every three weeks. I was hospitalized for 6 days, yet every test has failed to find a cause.

Palliative chemo - pemotrexid and cisplatin
Hi, I've been reading posts on here for a week or two, since my mum was diagnosed with terminal non-small cell
adenocarcinoma
(both lungs and 2 spinal mets T5 and T9 - we have been told stage 3 as the mets are quite close to the primary) about 3 weeks ago.

Watch and wait?
Hi I've written at length previously about my case, but just to sum up, I had a total gasrectomy on April 4th for
adenocarcinoma
at the junction. Post op pathology indicated T3 N3 M0 (17 out of 19 nodes involved) and an R1 resection - margins clear apart from the circumferential margin.

Pain after chemo (carboplatin/Taxol)
My wife had her first dose of chemotherapy (carboplatin/Taxol) 2 days ago --- she has high grade serous
adenocarcinoma
, stage IIIc, and has elected to defer surgery because (a) it seems so radical to remove the uterus, ovaries, Fallopian tubes, (unspecified) bits of the intestine, omentum, spleen, part

Fluid in lung
The fluid has
Adenocarcinoma
cells present too but that was the case when I was 4 months between drains in the past. I was told my tumors are stable though from last CT scan. Thanks for any input!

EOSOPHAGEAL CANCER - Understanding staging
The stage groupings for squamous cell carcinoma and
adenocarcinoma
are different. Cancers that have features of both squamous cell and
adenocarcinoma
are staged as squamous cell carcinomas.

Any experience, suggestions regarding brain metastases found 8 months after having oesophagectomy.
My husband had his oedophago-gastrectomy (
adenocarcinoma
) 8 months ago(Sep 2016). He had been recovering quite well until past month. Then some seemingly minor problems with right side of body, weakness, drop foot, some tremors, memory problems started to appear.
