No hope and we don't understand why
We were told that my husbands stage 4
adenocarcinoma
was not going to be treated as he is negative for mutations and the GFR test on his kidneys was 34% so not suitable for carboplatin chemotherapy.

What causes pleural effusion (stage 4 Adenocarcinoma)
My mum was admitted to hospital tonight as she was becoming breathless on very little exertion. The chest X-ray showed a pleural effusion and I am just wondering what can cause this? Does it always mean a malignant effusion? As far as we know my mum has metastases to her bones, adrenal glands and lymph

Hello All So...my dad has a 3cm

His older brother has also been diagnosed with NSCLC,
Adenocarcinoma

My husband had surgery for
adenocarcinoma
5 1/2 years ago and was considered to be cured of his disease. In June he had what we thought would be his final scan only to be told that he had a leison on his liver and spots on his lungs.

On a related topic, here is a recent medical hypothesis [4] - the title says it all: "Dying for love: Perimenopausal degeneration of vaginal microbiome drives the chronic inflammation-malignant transformation of benign prostatic hyperplasia to prostatic

Having biopsy on lung
I had
adenocarcinoma
in lymph node in 2012, had chemo, and cyberknife, and then had the node removed, and have been cancer free since. Now i have a growth on my left lung, so doing biopsy to see what it is.I have never had anything like this before, so it is pretty scary to me.

Re John's wife .... (I'm new)
The
adenocarcinoma
is a colloidal/mucous coated cancer. I have a pulmonary cancer and also many small plural cancers over the upper lobes. At the original diagnosis the consultant even asked if I wanted treating. I was appalled.

Elevated CA 125, a year after treatments-A cycle?
I was most scared because this (possible) recurrence (
adenocarcinoma
stage 4) might mean I will just keep cycling...or does it? Luckily so far I haven't minded chemo at all. I had carbo-taxol, lost hair, a bit of neuropathy that hasn't gone away, but not really bothersome.
