Post-transcriptional Gene Regulation by MicroRNA-194 Promotes Neuroendocrine Transdifferentiation in Prostate Cancer
"Summary Potent therapeutic inhibition of the androgen receptor (AR) in prostate
adenocarcinoma
can lead to the emergence of neuroendocrine prostate cancer (NEPC), a phenomenon associated with enhanced cell plasticity.

Epidemiology of Young Lung Cancer (EoYLC) study
Conducted between 2014 and 2017, the GoYLC study found that nearly 84%1 of participants with lung
adenocarcinoma
had specific mutations that are potentially treatable with targeted therapies or precision medicine. This rate is much higher than what is seen in the general lung cancer population.

Newly Diagnosed Prostate Cancer. Gleason score 9, PSA 1.4 at age 58.
Tissue samples taken and final pathology report defines my cancer as Prostatic
adenocarcinoma
with ductal differentation. Gleason score at 9 . This cancer has made my prostate swell to one side and has attached to my rectum, actually bulging into it, making this inoperable.

Just Diagnosed with T4N1 Ductal Adenocarcinoma of the Prostate
I am a 68 year old male, recently diagnosed with prostate cancer which is apparently a rare Ductal type. I always had a normal PSA and negative DRE until I had a kidney stone and my PSA jumped to 7.9. My doctor decided that the PSA score was elevated due to the kidney stone and the effect of antibiotics

Good news - Stage IIIB
I have had clear scan results today after being diagnosed with Stage IIIB, non small cell,
adenocarcinoma
in 2014, aged 43. My prognosis at the time was poor and I was told I was inoperable, terminal and treatable with palliative care. Discussions were around chances of survival.

I have
Adenocarcinoma
stage 4, following half left lung removal in March . CT in August showed spread to right lung. I've been through 4 cycles of pem/carb chemo but recent ct showed continued spread in the right lung. Surgery is no longer an option as too widespread.

Unexpected finding reveals new target for aggressive form of lung cancer.
Targeted therapies are currently available for about one-third of people with lung
adenocarcinoma
, the most common kind of lung cancer. These drugs inhibit cancer cells by thwarting the molecular changes that drive them to grow while largely sparing healthy tissues.
