Xanax is great but...
I take a half a Xanax when I have particular bad attacks, but in the past week I had to do this 3 times (so 1 and a half pills), and I am worried about
addiction
to this.

Any advice on what to do.
My consultant doesn't want to give me steroids because of
addiction
possibilities. Any suggestions? Anybody else think that Meth. causes depression? Am on Sertraline for depression prior to RA diagnous.

Feeling Desperate
I had a fibroscan done at the end of October 2018 which was 3.9 Kpa, I am frightened enough now that I've booked an appointment with my G.P for next week and also booked an appointment with a grief and
addiction
councillor, I also have tapered down this week from 10 pints a night to 6 pints.

Happy Easter!
I'm also a recovering addict (over 15 years clean), so I'm trying to implement the same tools I learned from one
addiction
, to the other, if that makes sense?? The struggle is real some days though. Mind over matter. Anyways, hope you are all well, and staying strong! Happy Easter to all of you!

Not been here for a while
When I read on here with all the failings after a few days etc it makes me realise how strong the
addiction
is and how I’ve managed to come through the other side . Even doctors telling to me seek professional help as for when I’m better I will start again ..

I wonder how many opiod scripts could be replaced with steroids?

Good feeling
a problem with alcohol you are a minority, family and friends never want to talk about it, I don't blame them, it must be difficult, I self re-refered to Turning point, they deal with all addictions, I now understand about heroin and the devastating effects it has, likewise they understood alcohol

Sharing my story of grief, anxiety, and depression.
I smoke regularly, cigarettes and weed, as well as maintain a high level caffeine
addiction
all in order to fight off the cravings.

While #1 of the aforementioned list is not an option and #3 has become somewhat of an
addiction
, I still can’t find the motivation or the will to lay down my dignity and ask for help within my family or from a therapist.

Viibryd worked for anyone?
It seems I have been on every antidepressant known with no avail...benzos worked for the anxiety but I cannot take them anymore due to
addiction
. They have now put me on Viibryd and my anxiety has gone through the roof.

Liver pain and stomach cramping
The power of
addiction
is scary but i now realize I cannot put my self in any type of temptation. It seems this has happened to my stomach before but only with lots of hard liquor not only beer like I drank last night. I have to surrender to higher power and am going to AA Monday.

So...I guess the journey begins
(I never used to bother with this aspect of the fitbit but once I did start checking it has become a bit of an
addiction
- if only to reinforce how I actuaIly know I feel...because GP didn't seem to take me seriously) So all in all I am feeling MUCH better, relative to how AWFUL I was feeling last week

Hypnosis totally reset my brain.
Hypnosis is incredible, especially for those of us who have ever struggled with Anxiety, depression,
addiction
or anything self-destructive and negatively ruling your life hypnosis is worth your time.
