I'm passionate about improving acne treatments - are you?
I am almost 60 and had acne until I was 37. As an undergraduate, I got the chance to work on acne and have never stopped. I've very conscious how improvements in how we treat acne have slowed down in recent years after the rapid strides of the 60s, 70s and 80s. I'm now project managing the Acne Priority

Anyone else suffer with acne and have any ideas how to treat it?
I've always suffered from acne and tried many treatments as a teenager. The one thing that did work for me was going on the pill. But obviously with trying for a baby and waiting for my next Endo op I had to come off it and now my acne is worse than ever! It's bad enough dealing with Endo without having

Spot Problem
Has anyone, whilst increasing their doseage of Levo, had terrible problems with their skin and specifically spots/acne? My skin is worse now than when I was a teenager! Can anyone please offer help as to what could be causing this as its beginning to get me down. Thanks Gail

Does anybody take Dianette for Endometriosis?
The consultant has recommended I start taking Dianette. I have never had a good experience with the pill and was on it from 15 to 31 due to Period problems and Acne, however it seems that coming off it (5 years ago) has brought the Endo to a head (I didn't even know it). I basically would like to know

Good news - This month's Look magazine from the UK showed a range of products from Dermologica, that cover the WORST red and/ the sores, - magically - a top model has really bad acne - really bad - but the makeup for face, shoulders, cleavage, and or, back, doesn't show a flaw when put on - they also

Have you got acne? Please tell us how it affects you...
We're currently running a survey here at the British Skin Foundation about acne, how it affects you and what you do to manage it. At present there is no dedicated support group in the UK like there was a few years back, so we're also keen to find out how you deal with the emotional/psychological side

Finding an effective treatment for acne
Hi everyone!!!! I'm conducting a survey into how acne is perceived and the beliefs surrounding treatment for it. The results will go towards enabling those with acne to have an easier time when selecting an effective treatment for it. There is a bit more information about the survey below: Although

Zoladex and acne, spotty and need help
Hello everyone, I just wanted to know if anyone else has been through a cycle of zoladex and then had quite bad acne. I have never really suffered with spots in my life but since having the zoladex it has been a problem. I expected them while on the treatment with all of the changes. However now

Pharmacists/Fosamax
I've noticed quite a few of the questions which people raise on this site (e.g. recent ones about Fosamax and Seretide/Ventolin) could perhaps better be raised with a pharmacist. Just wondering why other people don't use their local pharmacy more for advice? Most towns have one which is open late/on
