My 13 year old daughter has been taking roaccutane for 3 months 1 month 30mg and 2months 60mg. She’s was on dyxocline Doxycycline for the previous 6 months that caused severe nausea. She is still suffering from nausea and stomach pain. Any advice greatly appreciated

Tips on starting Roaccutane
Hi, I have suffered with acne for around 10years now! After trying everything the GP could possibly prescribe i was so fed up and finally insisted that GP referred me to dermatology. I had my appointment with the dermatologist today and they have prescribed Roaccutane 40mg daily which I am starting tomorrow

Roaccutane and food?
My 15 year old daughter has just started on roaccutane. I’m “trying” to get her to follow a healthy diet now on this medication. She takes the tablet & an antibiotic tablet with a bowl of cereal in the morning! But is now getting diareaha . Any suggestions on what food to take the roaccutane

Concerned parent
My 14 year old son started on 30mg of roaccutane on October 14. First few weeks nothing apart from dry skin and sore lips. He is an active boy and an able athlete but since the beginning of November he is struggling to run 400m. His whole body is in agony but especially behind his knees and lower back

Roaccutane
Hi everyone, I’ve been on roaccutane since July, unfortunately upping my dose messed my joints up so I’m on a low dose and will be on it a bit longer. I started taking the mini pill (as the ladies know we have to go on contraception) but my body hates not having a period. I’ve been on it since feb

Treatment for acne - accutane?
She also says that my daughter should be ok to take
accutane
- which is the only treatment my two sons have had any success with as far as acne treatment goes! It worked like a charm for both of them!

Accutane doesn t work??
I have 70 kg and I read on the internet that you have to take up to 120 mg x 70 kg = 8400 What to do, continue to take
accutane
even if I have not seen any improvement in the 3 months? I take
accutane
with food.

Acne coming back after Accutane treatment
I have finished a course of
Accutane
last September (took it over 4months) and it was 100% effective. 5months later, the oilyness of my face is 80-90% back as compared to before
accutane
treatment.

Roaccutane and tattoos!
Hi all, this may be a stupid question and I think I already know the answer. I was booked in before lockdown to have a tattoo, which has obviously now been postponed until lockdown has lifted and shops are back open. I will be starting a roaccutane course fairly soon, and I wondered whether anyone

Roaccutane
Hi everyone, I posted a while ago about my acne. Well I’ve been to see the dermatologist and he’s happy for me to start roaccutane! I’ve just got to get hold of some contraception and book to see him once 4 weeks have passed. I’m super excited, but also terrified. Summer 2018 I had a major drug reaction
