Inactive lymph nodes? Mine don't seem to be working could that be PMR related?
The ENT sent me for an ultrasound which ruled out a dental or bone
abscess
but showed that the lymph glands in my neck had not reacted at all to the infection. I am now on heavy duty antibiotics and the lump has drained naturally.

Cameras been playing up, body's been playing up but both are now up and running again.
Today after a stroll around the garden I set off on a walk up the lane, its my first real walk since the
Abscess
operation, my lungs have clogged due to the lack of exercise so I didn't expect things to go well but to my surprise I wasn't so bad.

First night without clexane for almost a month and I'm not sorry.
I've had 2 bleeds on clexane, one pre-
abscess
op and the other was post
abscess
op. Both ended in bed sheets soaked in blood and only stopped bleeding with pressure being applied.

I've been having a right bleedin time on Clexane.
Having been taken off Warfarin and put on Clexane in preparation for an
abscess
removal from my bum I have noticed I seem to bleed gallons through a pin hole and it just don't wanna stop.

Good morning, sun is shining so I might try and get out in the garden.
Tulip (my dog) is much better after her
abscess
on her back leg bursted, she is taking her antibiotics and painkillers. She is wagging her tail a lot, good sign she is on the mend.

Just diagnosed with early Cirrhosis
I rarely drink, a few years ago I want to my doctor with oedema, itchy skin, low vitamin D, I have also developed Psoriasis a few years ago and at the same time had
abscess
which developed into fistulas. Is all this linked to Cirrhosis?

Dall 'still rocking on the operating table ?????'
Well the
abscess
has been removed at last and I only needed a two night stay in hospital. Lucky for me the
abscess
wasn't attatched to my bowl so its not a fistula, whew!! I think the operating team may remember the day Dall came to visit.

AV Node ablation, I've read that much I am lost on the benefit
My brief background, I'm 58, took a reaction under a simple day case general anaesthetic to investigate a lump (turned out to be an
abscess
) they had to use the defribulator to start my heart, but my rhythmn was screwed up. I ended up with a pacemaker fitted a few months later.

Hello, This is me, how did I get here?
I woke early the next morning in some discomfort and more than a little confused as to why I couldn't move properly, I soon discovered the very large (child's football sized) perianal
abscess
that had developed overnight.

Anesthetist say's 'with those lungs general anesthetic is not an option' at pre-op meeting this morning
But it seems as though a type of epidural will do the job if I'm taken off warfarin for around 5 days before operation to remove
Abscess
on Bum region. Oucha :O Of course this increases the risk of another DVT but its the only way to move forward and get back on the transplant list.
