Undiagnosed 10+years, chronic fatigue, bowel issues, pelvic pain etc
A few years back, 5+ I was admitted for roughly 2 weeks due to an “
abscess
” showing on an urgent ultrasound, which all started as sudden bladder pressure. I had a diagnostic laparoscopy which showed a Multicystic Benign Mesothelioma or multiocular lesion.

Dental abscess
As advised by 111 I went to A&E who told me I had a dental
abscess
and gave me two lots of antibiotics. He told me to ring my dentist on Friday to get the
abscess
drained. I am just worried I may have sepsis and that if I do the antibiotics will work? Can anyone help?

Neutropenia as a side-effect of Covid vaccine
I am currently recovering from a 3-week stay in hospital to operate on and treat a perianal
abscess
(3 operations!), skin issues and abscesses being a common side-effect of neutropenia. To help me recover from the infection I am on a 6-week course of GCSF injections twice a week.

Help please!! Mass in perineum
I saw multiple surgeons who had no idea what it could be as my bloods came back with no infection so they didn’t think it was an
abscess
but they gave me 2 lots of antibiotics anyway (flucloxacillin & metronidazole )?

Just be aware
No doubt I have an
abscess
- too early to speak to the Dentist - and it seems that all of us with a autoimmune disorder are at greater risk of developing an
abscess
following dental work. Now waiting for the Dentist to get up an, hopefully, get an urgent appointment to get it fixed.

Abscess on aortic root
Has anyone here had surgery for an
abscess
on the aortic root? My husband has been told that he needs surgery to drain the
abscess
, but no-one has explained what type of surgery.

After an enforced break from running due to a painful tooth
abscess
I decided to make my comeback run this morning. Root canal treatment starting in 6 weeks, something to look forward to! 😬 The gremlins were out in full force this morning 😈. I had put everything on charge last night.

Irritated Illio-tibial band?
I had only ran a couple of 5ks a week for a couple of weeks as I had a tooth
abscess
and felt yukky with antibiotics. Last Tuesday I did a 10k but felt tired doing it but ploughed on- I had just worked 2 night shifts, little food and it was a hot day.

Starting Ivf Cycle - With Cyst In Ovary
As if they enter the other ovary with the cyst , there is a chance of infection and turning the cyst into a
abscess
. And causing further trouble . I am hoping the cyst goes down , as I have had severely scans previously which there has been a cyst but smaller .

Bartholins cyst
I had to have a word catheter put into the
abscess
after it was drained during local anaesthetic which was incredibly painful. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, do you have any tips on avoiding this from happening again as I’m so worried constantly that I’m going to be in this pain again.

When It Rains It Pours
Only one
abscess
remained and antibiotics and penicillin hadn't worked. By now I had been on 8 rounds of various antibiotics/penicillin and was sick of it; then my nasty neighbors flooded my flat, I slipped, fell and couldn't get up.

7 months on! Fallen out with my Drs! Told them to F off!
No doubt it has something to do with the fact they left an
abscess
on it for 3 months, but why isn’t it healing, or has it healed wrong? I don’t know! Ugh

Antibiotics and AF
I have been on antibiotics for 5 days for an
abscess
. Three days ago I went into the garden and pulled up a few weeds and my AF kicked in. I did the same this morning and the same has happened, and it's been going on for couple of hours with fast pulse.

Abscessed tooth prolonging the pericarditis flare - who knew?!
Yes, off and on I did have some tooth pain but I didn't pay it much attention as I also have tetchy sinus and tooth pain goes with sinusitis...this morning the tooth pain was close to unbearable and did a quick check of my gums only to discover an
abscess
tucked way up at the very topmost part - not

Still waiting !!!!!
Just thought I’d post that I’m still waiting for I think about 18 months now for the extraction of the tooth that has the
abscess
that my dentist wouldn’t do due to meds and heart condition, one hospital refused to do it, one has agreed and told I’d be first on his list to have it out as I’ve had yet
