Last year I had a pelvic infection which caused an
abscess
. When I went to the GPs they had given me antidepressents for my pelvic pain telling me they could also help with the pain (Amitryptilline).

I'm also temporarily off the transplant list while I have an
abscess
on my bum sorted out :( , at least it all takes my mind off my lungs which are running now at a high of 30% so at least all is well where it really matters and I should be home for Christmas too.

Best way to treat tooth abscess when you have Churg strauss
My dentist thinks I may have an
abscess
on my tooth but he is not sure as I also have a back wisdom tooth growing at a strange angle into my teeth.

Hi - have very extensive adhesions, following multiple surgeries, and Ovarian Remnant Syndrome. Need advice on pain relief
As a quick rundown, I have had multiple surgeries including a salpingo-oophorectomy for ruptured cysts, endo, pelvic
abscess
, peritonitis, ureteral compression, division of adhesions etc. I have a diagnosed cyst secondary to ovarian remnant syndrome and it hurts like you wouldn't believe.

THE ROOT CAUSE !
Oh and by the way - there was evidence of
abscess
scars behind the Caecum when they operated for the TB - so the cause of the appendix pain was missed. I could have been diagnosed 10 years earlier and yes I was lucky to survive those abscesses. Poor diagnosis again !

Help and advice needed on how much to raising my pred by after experiencing a lot of discomfort.
For about 3 weeks I was grinding my teeth at night and ended up after 4 weeks, with an
abscess
and had to take antibiotics and pain killers. Which has cleared up. After this I went on the Dukan Diet to lose about 4 kilos. Do you think this could be the reason?

Can my wife's uterine adhesion be treated so that she can have a hysterectomy?
The op, 7 years ago, was to remove an ovarian
abscess
. The surgeon said he couldn't do a hysterectomy because of uterine adhesion. She's in constant pain and discomfort, and has bowel and bladder problems probably caused by the fibroids.

Developed gum abscess overnight despite being an ciproxyl, nausea and chills
Today was meant to be last dose but have work with painful
abscess
in mouth All these tabs have really upset my gut (have coeliac, pernicious anaemia, etc) and i cannot believe this has happened while on ciproxyl. It's so bad it's woken me in the early hours. What do i do?

Its not only your lungs that can let you down!!!
If that wasn't enough an
abscess
decided to appear on my bum which made sitting down pretty painful, so back to the GP and more antibiotics and this was followed by 3 days of sickness and diarrhea that came just to kick me while I was down.

Neutropenic sepsis
He has recently been diagnosed with a cold
abscess
in his neck which necessitates surgery, the theory is that the sepsis could have come from that.

To Hell with it !
Dental
abscess
from Hell on top of 'normal' pain, with no pain relief due to liver enzymes being raised. More than all of that though has been my mind set which has been pretty negative at times, feeling as though all that made me 'me' and all that I loved doing had been taken away from me.
