Dental problem
Well after seeing the dentist got the unwelcome news that I need a root canal and have an infection/
abscess
at the end of the root. He put me on amoxicillin and referred me to an endodontist for the procedure, “as soon as possible.” Waiting to hear from the rheumatologist about this.

I am awaiting laparoscopy to diagnose Endometriosis. I have a cyst on the left ovary which they have said may be a chocolate cyst.
I have also been told it may be Tubo Ovarian
Abscess
as one doctor diagnosed me with PID and did not put me forward for laparoscopy then after being admitted for a week. My GP stIll believes it is Endo.

Sepsis
I thought the daily pain from my fibromyalgia was the worst of my problems this time two weeks ago, then I was suddenly struck down with an
abscess
which was drained under general anaesthetic. Then I was struck down hard by Sepsis, a bowel infection and a severe strain of flu.

Stumbling around in the dark...
The colorectal surgeon was unable to say why she has got the
abscess
but hinted at some sort of infected cyst (duplication cyst?) However, although the
abscess
drained, she has constant issues now with a heavy vaginal discharge and pain but several MRI's have failed to show any sign of a fistulae.

Nausea and vomiting stopped by one B12 injection an indication of undiagnosed PA?
I have had constant dental problems for the last 6 years or so and each time I get an infection (which ends up with an
abscess
and tooth extraction) I feel VERY sick.

Too cute to be ill!
I was recently hospitalised for an
abscess
drainage. Although the location of the
abscess
on my body made it difficult to walk and sit down, I had to wait 7 hours on a chair before I could lay down on a trolley. The surgery went well and I was discharged on the same day.

Is this forum for people from the Republic of Ireland too
She has never had her blood test results just told she's fine but she's feeling rubbish and now has an
abscess
that won't go away. I think she'd benefit from finding stuff out including private blood tests in Ireland.

Post surgery relapse?
My 70 year old Mum had emergency surgery last year for a brain
abscess
, after spending two months in hospital she came home. She had a few weeks of physios and therapists visiting but once that stopped there was no support. Mum was slowly recovering, her speech, memory and walking all improved.

Pain after laparoscopy
Starting to think I have a cyst/
abscess
, that it's infected, and that the op has just made things worse. Anyone else expereince something similar? Diane, any thoughts? I've contacted my gp: got an appointment on Monday and really hope I get to the bottom of this problem soon. So sick of being sick!

Desperately looking for answers, extremely anxious. Please help. Chest infection or lung cancer?
Mid Dec 2017 – CT scan showed persistent consolidation with possible
abscess
formation. “An ill-defined area of consolidation within the RLL with a 4.3cm thin walled rounded low attenuation component, adjacent to which is a 1.6cm area of low attenuation”.
