Corns on fingers
It then became apparent that there was an
abscess
building underneath, which has now been lanced and dressed by a nurse and I'm on flucloxacillin (again) as there was a wider infection starting. Does anyone else get bad corns on their fingers?

Flying after suffering a brain abscess
I suffered a left temporal brain
abscess
about 18 months ago. I've had set backs with my recovering but now feel fit enough to go on holiday. We've booked and will be going in a few days but it's a 5 hour flight and I'm worried about how it might effect me. Has anyone got any advise for me?

Bowel Cancer diagnosed today
I have suffered from Crohn's disease for thirty years - had an MRI a month ago and it was thought I had a large
abscess
- however, no pain and normal blood led to biopsies and today I have found out I have a 5cm adenocarcinoma in the bowel.

Concerned - bleeding after sex/masturbation & other symptoms
I was worried about there being an
abscess
or polyps but he assured me that the female gyno who gave me the exam a couple months back would have detected that. I just feel like I'm very unwell in a way. My breasts also bother me sometimes.

Swollen nodes right side of body GOLF BALL SIZE
It started swelling about two months ago when I had an
abscess
in my gums and I took antibiotics and it went down. Well now it's twice the size and causes pain in my back, shoulder, arm pit and occasionally the front of my neck. It gets stiff occasionally too.

I have had one sore gum in same place for ten days or more now, dentist can't see an
abscess
or anything obviously wrong, neither can dr. Just thought I'd ask you all, as all my info about this illness has largely been down to this site and all you informative lot.

Any advice greatly appreciated.
Then I got laryngitis followed by a very painful infected tooth
abscess
and my methotrexate was stopped. I was off the steroids at this point so was taking nothing but hydroxy. 3 courses of antibiotics later and the tooth still just would not heal.

Unauthorised procedure question
The reversal went well without complications, but within a week of being discharged I was back in hospital as the 'flap' had formed an
abscess
and become infected. This required a clean out and I was discharged with a negative pressure wound therapy unit (VAC pump).

My son is recovering really well.
Deep cleaning at dentist caused major blood infection and internal
abscess
on lower leg. He also had damaged aortic valve. They opened up the calf of his leg on both sides and actually cleaned it out by pulling a cloth thru back and forth. That was the most painful.

Newbie needs advice
At the beginning of July my husband has a tooth
abscess
and was pushed backwards and forwards between dentist and doctors. He eventually was admitted as an emergency as he couldn’t open his mouth.

My son is in hospital
His right leg is really hurting him and the say he might have an
abscess
. He was going to have surgery on his leg first but they cancelled it. I am utterly exhausted and my hips are killing me. I went back up to 12.5 mgs as the ten just wasn’t holding me. My anxiety level is thru the roof.

I miss my old life
I had antibiotics for 4 weeks and the recent scan showed that the
abscess
didn’t change. It’s still the same size which means more antibiotics but what’s the point? It doesn’t seem like it’s working.

I’d like to introduce myself
Enbrel gave me a tooth
abscess
that required emergency surgery. Next we tried Remicade. That gave me drug induced Lupus. Next I was put on Actemra. Bingo! Relief! Only it dramatically lowered my white count.
