Refusing To Take Steroids
After another 9 months waiting for funding I was put on Humira, then I was put on Enbrel, then Tocilimab and then finally
Abatacept
. All of theses drugs, with the exception of Tocilimub, worked either very, very well to moderate relief.

Hello
Then if it helps I will look into a scooter but one step at a time cos I'm still SURE they will get a drug to suit me, and I did have a couple of good days after my
Abatacept
( until the pain worsened again lol) Hoping you all good! X A

Steroid tablets
When my last Bio,
Abatacept
, showed signs of not working back in Oct last year my Consultant, the lovely Dr Armstrong, told me there was nothing new for me..... I was desolate to be honest. I had an appointment with him on Tuesday and he confirmed his original diagnosis, no more Bio's for me.

Very lengthy but worth the read
Most recently, Bristol Meyers Squibb has funded a study to test the effectiveness of a new drug called
Abatacept
or Orencia. This is being given to patients with PBC who have not responded completely to URSO and remain at risk for progression of their disease.

EDINBURGH......I SURVIVED!
Anyhow I was in great form and almost pain free for two years due to the wonder drug
Abatacept
and so myself and two neighbours booked a C'mas city break to gorgeous Edinburgh. Unfortunately for me about 5/6 weeks ago the drug has stopped doing its magic for me and I am slowly sinking again.

LIFE SPAN OF BIO'S
Abatacept
is the last drug available to me......for now, I was told that. If I am at the end of the road with regards to thee most effective medication I can tolerate I really want to know about it.

Abatacept concerns
Supposed to be switching from rituximab to
abatacept
but just don't like the look of the risks involved. Has anyone gone backwards in their treatment regime like back to methotrexate from biologics? Thanks

Unable to drive!!!!
I have collected more joint damage in my hands and wrists in the past 11 weeks whilst waiting for
abatacept
to work. Not being able to drive is my worst nightmare. I have good grip with my left hand but my right hand grip is really poor. I have had hand surgery which was unsuccessful.

IS THERE ANYTHING AFTER ABATACEPT.......SIMPLE ANSWER IS 'NO'
"you have had all that there is available now"........that quote has been ringing in my head since i heard it yesterday......for now,
Abatacept
