It could be anything He needs to go and see his doctor. They may do a digital rectal examination to see if there are any bumps or lumps on his prostate. I had mine done by a lady doctor and she was great. Next stop is a PSA blood test then if the levels are high they will decide on what to do next. There's no point in worrying - he needs to see his doctor to find out what's causing his pain.

Totally agree with twobins. Follow the suggested procedure and don't worry. You can have and enlarged prostrate without it being cancerous and that is common amongst older men. It can be treated quite easily with medication. Go see your doctor and good luck.
