You previously said it was your husband that had prostate cancer and that you had had multiple different illnesses and I replied to you as did others. Whatever is going on in your life the remedy is to be drinking plenty of water. The stronger the urine the more stinging. It will eventually cease but not for a while.

Hi Bub,I just read my post and it sounds like me with Prostate cancer, sorry it sounded confusing,I am drained at the moment with every aspect of my husbands care going wrong. We're also not sure if he's going for the right treatment,it just shocked us and we haven't thought it through.

But thanks for the advise on water,I drink water all day now I've got my hubby doing the same.

If your husband has new symptoms, get an appointment with the GP now. It could be several things (including an infection) and it should be sorted quickly.

As I mentioned in a previous message to you, if you think your GP is "useless" etc you must change the GP. He won't take it personally.

Good luck. Bob1957

It could also be prostatitis I am currently being tested for prostate cancer at 30 years old rather a shock but I have the same issues with peeing I drink plenty all urine samples have come back clear Dr has told me it could be prostatitis. I haven't found anything as of yet to help it stop but I do notice on the days its worse I can feel pressure on my prostate and it is also impossible to obtain an erection. Had 14 weeks of antibiotics not helped. I do hope your treatment is helping and you find your other issues start to ease. Wishing you a great recovery. D

Hi there memphiswoolf, I am deverstated at reading your post at just age 30yrs.

What tests are they doing on you? I have 3 sons and I've told them all to get tested.

My husbands problem with his peeing problem has now resolved itself, after 3 lots of antibiotics the last box being very strong. He's starting to feel a little better now we've finally got things sorted. He's a 73yr old very fit man never been ill in his life, but his problem from first not being able to pee,to now has been a long hard struggle ALL because, anything that could go wrong did,due to the inefficiency of Hostpital, district nurses and our GP. I'm not saying there all the same, because I've had wonderful care, but my poor hubby, who for the first time in his life has needed help,it's been appalling.

My only advise I can give to you is,just push for all you need, don't let anyone pull the wool over your eyes. It's your health you look after yourself. Take good care.
