I've been doing Organ imagery as I'm
swimming
. This really seems to help with my coordination strength, each of movement and efficiency.

Swimming
I'm feeling very proud of myself. I swam 60 lengths yesterday, that's 1500km! I could only do 14 lengths last week.

Cold water swimming
Hi all, I have been toying with cold water
swimming
for some time. ... (Now I'm no longer on the brink of chilblains at all times it seems like it could be a reasonable endeavour!) Does anyone do cold water
swimming
(or similar) and feel any benefit?

swimming - a metaphor
I hate
swimming
. I know how to swim. I'm not great, but I can cross a pool and tread water and float and all the other basics. And still, I hate
swimming
--because when you're
swimming
, you need to be actively keeping yourself afloat and alive the whole time.

Wild swimming with arrhythmias...
The only thing that upsets me is the thought of giving up wild
swimming
... Does anyone swim in British seas, lakes or rivers with arrhythmias? Or even do a Christmas day harbour swim? Or is that a complete no go? Thanks in advance x

Sea swimming
I have been
swimming
in the North Sea and lakes for about 3 years. I have lupus and RA. I couldn't recommend it highly enough. My joints feel less stiff and sore, and the buzz I get both during, and for hours afterwards is addictive.

Referral to Action heart cardiac rehab at local hospital, what can I expect ?
As I struggle with chest pains quite a lot (mainly on evertion) cardiologist thinks I’ll benefi from cardiac rehab, plus I’m really keen to go
swimming
again , it was when I’d gone
swimming
that triggered the start of my cardiac symptoms that eventually lead to being told I needed a pacemaker .

Anyone know how soon I can swim in a hotel pool after my hybrid mini maze. All wounds are healed over but still raised.

Swimming with tinnitus
Hi everyone, I have a knee injury and part of the physio will be
swimming
. Will the regular half-hour sessions immersed in chlorinated water exacerbate my tinnitus to any extent? Thanks in advance. Kind regards, Mark

side effects of hydroxycarbamide
I am soon to start this drug, does it impact on physical activity; I do a lot of cycling and
swimming
at the moment. Also, has anyone experienced problems with immunity?

We had such a lovely time
swimming
in the warm pool on the roof under a lovely evening sky. Sad if I can't go again.

Some time ago there was a discussion about
swimming
goggles. I would like to go
swimming
at my local indoor pool. Ladt time I wore well fitting goggles but got conjunctivitis anyway🥲…which are the well fitting goggles that people use? I do not need prescription ones. Thanks

chest discomfort
Have been active building up exercise and
swimming
well. Today walked a dog for the first time. She pulled a bit and after a while I found a slight discomfort in my right chest. This is a different “action” to
swimming
etc and I assuming will just become ok with time. Anyone any advice?
