Really sorry to hear this. Lack of sleep is exhausting!! I found a good nightime routine helped, bath, hot drink etc. try horlicks if you are comfortable drinking it. If you are unable to sleep because you are anxious, thinking too much etc, try some relaxing music. I used to use audio books or relaxation on my iPod. Are you receiving support for your ed? Talking to someone would help with worry or anxiety. Hope you get a good nights sleep soon. Xx

hey hun,how bout relaxing music on headphones, yoga is good too or a breathing techneque that is a mantra, tell yourself sleep slowly and steady and try to relax your body from head to toe nice and steady.xxxx

Hi Piglet. Lack of sleep really wears you down. As well as the suggestions already posted, sometimes it can help to spend 5 minutes writing down all the things that are preoccupying or feeding anxiety, just as a way of letting things go, or making sure you will remember the things you need to, before you try to sleep. No one thing works for everyone, but developing your own 'routine' that helps you wind down can be key.

Hope you find some things that work for you.

If you have an eating disorder, your sleep will be disrupted. Your body goes into shut down, so all your systems shut down, and your nervous system senses danger so goes into high alert.

Others have mentioned some sensible things, but most importantly is to rebuild the rest of your health
